osu.... you mean the same Pitt that also lost to a piss poor uconn team with a horrible offense.... essentially dominated all night.
Pitt is probably the most inconsistent team in college football. Ole Miss may not be the most talented SEC team, but that offense will score points (not inconsistent) and that defense will lay more than a few pops.
Ole Miss will score and keep scoring. And, once they get up on Pitt by say... 2 scores. This Pitt team will lose heart.

This site reminds of free winners back 10 years ago. Won a lot of money in law school trusting info from that site. Now info works as it should....in the hands of the beholder. That said, best info comes from guys who follow teams. Question becomes how much can you trust a homer?? I am an ole miss guy so as this is my first post you ll learn quickly my sincerity.
I have ole miss locked down at 2
Pitt scares me they had a resurgence and I like their coach. I hate betting on the rebels but they just are a "team" you don't want to fade. There is a sense of momentum and they care about this game. Heavily wounded they went ten rounds at LSU and hammered state at home. Ok. Miss. Sate is not a world beater but it wasnt close.
All season I thought against georgia, tex anm, lsu and especially against Bama I thought that this team would been killed. They werent. This team believes and you have young talent that keeps getting better. Young guys who somehow shut great offenses down combined with offensive imagination.
That's ole miss. Give me Pitt. Insight. Im homing but ole miss wins this game. They care big time, they are recruiting off of it and freeze, like cryst is the real deal. So tell me something about Pitt.
Prelim. I love it. Ole miss 38 Pitt. 24 . Need more info though.

Ole miss large, ole miss capable of scoring and pitt will get there scores but in the long run ole miss is highly capable of beating pitt fairly easily. Ole miss QB bo wallace very underrrated and im not sure on the total far as over under but im pretty damn sure ole miss wins and covers this spread quite easily. Large play ole miss small play on the over

I am concerned about their blow out loss at HOME to a mediocre Texas team. I lost money on that game because I thought Ole Miss was ripe to pull an SEC home upset. They look like classic SEC middle tier, which means we should not give them credit for being "SEC quality ". I like Pitt because I don't think Ole MIss can be trusted. Will post numbers later.

The bowl has sold 54,000 tickets, only 6,000 of which were purchased by Pitt. Ole Miss purchased the rest of Pitt's allotment. Basically a home game a short drive from Oxford with the momentum of destroying their instate rival to close the season. Give me Ole Miss by at least 2 TD's. Better skill players. Better defense. Better QB. And a few years from now we may be saying better coach.
This is coming from some one who despises Ole Miss but I don't despise winning easy money.

Pound for pound, Ole Miss is the better team. Also, who knows if Pitt is even motivated to play this gam? Pitt is a jekyl and hyde team, you don't know what you're going to get from them. Ole Miss 30 Pitt 17

This game might be played too fast for Pitt QB who has looked lost at times, if their RB can have a big day I think it can go to the wire...if Miss comes out of the chute fast and gets the crowd going, momentum could carry them, after initially liking Pitt, I now lean Mississip ....... speed can kill....Pitt would rather play this in the cold.

pittsburgh is the most inconsistant team in the nation and that means that they are poorly coached and with all the time inbetween games this is not good for them, on the other hand mississippi plays up to their talent level, they have a good offence and a decent D and are pretty consistant with it, even though sometimes they are simply over matched in their division, I think ole miss wins this one by 10+, bank it

When I saw Pitt in their first game this year, I thought they were one of the most poorly coached undisciplined team I had seen in many years. They played better down the stretch but I let my eyes make an opinion on this team that I believe is justified by the numbers
1. Score Predictor is too close to call - It makes Ole Miss a 2 pt fav, too close to make lean.
2. Consensus - slight edge to Pitt but still over 40%. Not enough to push me to Pitt.
3. Sharp / Square ML indicator - nothing here either. Not even a lean to either side.
4. CE Diff - Very slight lean to Pitt but not enough to make a play.
When I see a situation like this that looks like a pass, I sometimes lean to the favorite. I am sure all the squares on this site will find lots of reasons to back Ole Miss and I don't really have a disagreement with that. This game is such a snoozer that it is hard for me to make a play. Right now, I am leaning to Ole Miss but if any late steam comes on Pitt, I may switch my play if the late steam looks like sharp money ( which it usually is if the late steam is on the dog).
One more thing I would like to say to all of the people who don't understand my method of handicapping and that is the following:
Several of you guys here don't seem to get that this a game of long term
success. Anything can happen over a short period of time from winning 8
or losing 8 in a row. The absurdity of calling someone out because they
missed a game or two really shows a lack of understanding of how to
play this game. It may make you feel good to win a game or two but it means nothing in the long run because the long run is all that counts if you are about making money at this.
Short term results are meaningless. If you wanna call
me or anyone else out, then make it over 50 - 100 games or so, not just short term
fluctuations. I wonder how many of you here are really bettors or just
guys that post your square opinions. Even blind pigs find acorns at
times ( that means even squares have winning streaks. They just have
fewer of them than sharps)

Well Sunseri has thrown 19 td to 2 int..Pitt + 8 turnover margin. Going against the square bet PITT LARGE
Great point - always a good idea to buck the squares if you know for sure which side is the square side. Right now, I think it is Pitt but the SI consensus is still a bit too close for me to bet it.
