Kansas St - 34                                         Texas - 27

Longhorns +10.5                            under 66

Longhorns 0-5 ats last 5 vs the Wildcats. I'm betting the trend ends today.

Texas - Under

conventinal wisdom ( based on how my horns played against TCU) and our poor history @KSU, one would assume a Snyder beatdown...

I think our TCU debacle...and OU's miracle come backs against WVU and Ok St in consecutive weeks, costed us the BCS at large, not that we deserved it...

I hardly ever bet on my Longhorns...I am on the fence...will come back later in the week...GLTA

Ya gotta wonder how losing a shot at the national championship last week will affect K. St. One would think they would have to be a little down and that Texas could hang within 10.

Case McCoy gets the start here and that's not a good thing.  Case has intangibles that can expose middle of the road defenses.  However as TCU showed clearly, when the defense plays tight pass coverage, Case doesn't have the arm strength to fit the ball in fast in small windows.  And I'd say KSU's pass defense is quite stingy...14 TD's, 16 INT's.  They've picked off more balls than allowed TD's.  Bad news for Horns.

So when the Horns keep the passing to short and medium range depth to help Case, combined with running the ball against the 19th ranked rush defense in the nation...be a ton of Texas punting.

On defense, Texas'defense biggest problem is horrible tackling in the run game.  And the KSU combo of Klein and Hubert will gash the Horns.  Combine that with play-action deep passing when Texas focuses on the run...OUCH.

Not to mention KSU owns the Horns.  I'm a Texas fan, and not one that bashes our team, but this has route written all over it.  I'd say KSU wins this by 17+ easy.  BIG bet.

Wildcats on  "a mission" this season. Longhorns just another notch in their belt.

Sorry. Their mission failed. Now it's onto a smaller mission. Not sure Texas isn't the play on this game...

Still thinking about it....

Cannot believe the Texas fans have put up with Mack Brown's failures for so long.  I like K State to win this game at home by rolling the Horn defense, and confusing McCoy.  KSU plays solid, fundamental football and Texas just doesn't look well coached.  Hate to give double digit points but I don't see Texas staying within 17 of the Raging Snyders.  Wildcats by 3 TDs

KSU    -10 1/2            Four unit play

i think Snyder will exploit Texas weakness against the run that TCU put on Texas.  I think KSU is comparably coached as TCU, is playing at home, and has a much better QB.   I think Texas will play hard and may surprise some people.  We have been an enigma all year.   This is a no play for me, but I could see why KSU backers feel optimistic...

Kansas State over Texas!

Found five major comparisons with this matchup.  Kansas State took out TCU 23-10...Texas lost to TCU 13-20.  K-St. took down Oaklahoma 24-10...but Texas got blown-out by Oaklahoma 21-63!  And Kansas State destroyed West Virginia 55-14!  But Texas lost to West Virginia 45-48.

Also, Texas starting QB David Ash is "questionable" for Saturday's game!

Might be wrong, but can't see any way Texas even comes close to powerhouse Kansas State in this one!

Kansas State 5-1 vs. point spread last 7 games at home!  And Texas 0-5 vs. spread last 5 meets vs. Kansas State!

Kansas State minus 13 points over Texas!

BOL to ALL

Other than the Baylor debacle, KS has covered 7 out of the last 8 with 1 push.I ain't going against that.

Texas ML is the play here. WAY too many people on K. State. You don't think this is a big game for Texas, after losing the last several H2H? This is like a quadruple revenge game, and K State was a bit of a fraud in my opinion. They got blown out by a mediocre Baylor team. Now I'm supposed to lay double digits against a team that will be as fired up for any game they've played this year? No thanks. Texas +11, Texas ML.

Kansas State's offensive numbers compared to Texas' defensive numbers are almost identical. Kansas State averages 48.8 ppg @ home, Texas is playing with their backup QB, and the one thing they seem to do well (run the ball) is something K St. does a decent job doing (run defense). A home game for a BCS bowl against a team that doesn't have much to get excited for........hmmmm........

Even with ASH at full strength, i do not see the Loghorns keeping up here the Wildcats.Maybe they'll keep it close at the half but, KSST will roll away in the 2nd half.
