#3 Posted: 11/11/2012 11:53:17 PM Virginia had a good offensive showing against a porous Miami defense. Believe it or not, North Carolina's defense is a lot better than Miami's defense. You won't see Virginia coming close to putting up 40 pts.
Also, Miami was able to move the ball against Virginia all day. Well, NC's offense is better than Miami, so NC should have a lot of sucess moving the ball against Virginia all game
Bottom line, NC should win this game by 10 pts if they play their game.

#4 Posted: 11/12/2012 9:15:39 PM Larry Fedora beat the Cavs with a Southern Miss team, no reason why he can't with a decent Carolina outfit.
North Carolina - 24 Virginia - 20
Tar Heels -3 under 61
Music City Bowl maybe for the Heels???? Another high risk play. Cavs are 9-1 ats last 10 home vs the heels. NC IS 0-4 ATS on the road this season. Something's gotta give. No bowling for the Cavs this year.
Tar Heels - Under |

#5 Posted: 11/12/2012 10:21:50 PM Over 61 here...the way N Carolina has been giving up boatloads of points in the last 3 games...136 total...they have no D at all...I see something like the game Virgina played last week vs Miami here...something like
Virgina 49
N Carolina 42
OVER 61 is the play here for me

They were practically even coming into 2nd half. It was 3rd quarter where GA tech made a break for it. With games like those where scores are coming left and right and they come from being down to catching up, its exhausting to the emotions. They scored 50 themselves and really thought they had a chance. They are now diminished and will come out flat. Bet on it. |

#9 Posted: 11/14/2012 10:50:50 AM Gold Sheet's Call:
North Carolina 30 at Virginia 31 "Now that resuscitated UVA has shot at bowl bid following come-back 41-40 victory vs. Miami-Florida, will "take" vs UNC, which has permitted 1022 yds. in last two games. Cav HC Mike London effectively rotating QB Rocco & Sims, while soph WR Terrell
(9 grabs for 127 yds.) had breakout game vs. Hurricanes. Count on the inspired effort from UVA's ace RB Parks (660 YR; native N. Carolinian).
Tar Heels 0-4 vs. spread away from Chapel Hill TY." TV-ESPN
True, NC 0-4 vs. spread on the road, but that was against powerhouses like Louisville and Duke (lost a close match with Duke 30-33). But UVA
crushed by Duke 42-17!
North Carolina minus 9 points over Virginia!

Excellent, spot-on analysis Nhenley!
North Carolina's offense more than capable of matching any and all points (if any) put up by Virginia!
"All In" with NC! |
