#4 Posted: 10/1/2012 5:32:19 AM byu was limited to the run with a qb playing with a bad back. Barkley is 100% and much more precise on throeing the ball.Utah scores 7 pts last week, how do you figure on taking Utah when multiple weapons exsist for USC? |

#5 Posted: 10/1/2012 6:17:14 AM Didn't Utah lose to Utah St.? The win over BYU throws doubt, but I sense a USC route.

#8 Posted: 10/1/2012 2:15:50 PM I respect your view, but every minute that passes is a chance to turn a season around. In this spot I would not bet against Barkley and the Trojans. |

#11 Posted: 10/1/2012 11:16:06 PM we all know Utah has a good defense.. but so does USC.. I don't see how Utah can score much in this one.. at least USC has some balance with Woods, Lee, Redd, and Barkley.. i don't trush Utah's QB to win this game with his arm, and USC should shut down Utah's run attack..
gotta go with the trojans |

#13 Posted: 10/2/2012 10:46:24 AM Looks even worse for the Utah offense: Utah plans to start freshman RT Jeremiah Poutasi and freshman RG Siaosi Aiono against USC on Thursday. |

My
sentiments EXACTLY!
Although
I hate laying double digit chalk with Lane Kiffin, I am NOT impressed
with Utah at all; in fact, they should be 1 – 3 if
Bronco Mendenhall would have pulled Riley Nelson sorry axx and let that freshman
take the reins of the offense at the start of the second half of that BYU game. Utah has some talent at the skilled positions
(two solid backs and 1.5 solid receivers), but they are very conservative with
their play calling to protect that backup QB that should be playing at the D-1 AA level
and that won’t work against a Trojan team that has so many weapons on the
offensive side of the ball.
I
just don’t see Utah keeping pace with USC offensively and with their
inability to stretch the field is going to make that Trojan defense look better than they truly are. With that
said, put me down for THE real USC minus two touchdowns Alex
Trebek please. Thanks!

#17 Posted: 10/2/2012 10:38:04 PM I agree with all of you that USC is more dominant team. However, USC defense sucks and always let's junk teams score against them. No play for me. I just don't trust USC enough until they start blowing away teams like they did last year! |

#21 Posted: 10/3/2012 4:20:07 AM i've seen both play a few times this season.
I'm not sold on how the Utes play especially trying to match up the talent level of USC. Yes it's a Thursday game, but that was also the case vs in state rival UState and they didn't show up at all. Utes strength is their front 4 but USC is on another level when it comes to talent on their OLine to counter that.

btw utah st and asu might actually be good teams. that said I can't figure out utah and I don't really like usc. scratching my head on this one. Maybe a small play on utah getting 14. All you SC homers moved the line up.

#25 Posted: 10/3/2012 3:38:14 PM The dominant USC last year barely beat Utah's squad last year...... can someone enlighten me as if utah's squad last year was better than this years?
They seem to play it close.... and usc's ATS this year isn't.... all that great. I think they used all their juice on cal and will come out flat here again.
early learn utah |
