Taking Navy, ND always seems to disappoint. Someone thinks the Irish fans are going to care about American football? They don't even know when to cheer. Navy lads will be in bed resting, more used to the time change. Small play on Navy + the load of points.

i think you guys fail to see what this game means to N Dame...you'll see Saturday morning...Goulson is an improvement over Rees...with C Wood, N Dame would have won by 30, without him, they win be 24...Theo Riddick and George Atkinson will step in for dumb ass Wood...there will be a slight let down, but N Dame still rolls and covers...

You could be right, I doubt they roll but how many games that meant so much to ND do we have to see where they fall on their asses? It has been two decades since they have done anything meaningful. They will win their share but you can't live in the past. ND just isn't relevant, and beating Navy will not change that perception. Let them beat someone that is elite (and our Navy men and women are "elite" just not in football. ND should up their schedule if they want respect.

not one person has told me "why" they think can cover this spread...this seems to be purelyh anti notre dame sentiment...theo riddick is the real deal...and Te'o is going to make Miller's life hell...

I am curious how the field conditions will be. Does anyone know? Seems like when the NFL teams play in another country the fields have a tough time holding up. Add in the time zone change and it being an early game I am really loving the under. Both teams will be sluggish and possibly a slow field.

notre dame is coached by an irish american named kelly
the notre dama mascot is the :fighting irish
the game will be played in front of 50K screaming irish citizens
the game will be played in dublin, ireland.
ciere wood was suspended for the navy and purdue games this year, but i still think n dame covers.
Navy returns only 10 starters z(5 and 5)
n dame won 56-14 last year...
Notre Dame 42
Nsvy 17
this is probably the most ignorant post i've see on covers in year. not only are the all the facts related to nd and the irish irrelevant, they are just stupid... and they return ONLY 10 starters? lol.. thats almost 50 percent of the starting lineup lol.. youre a retard. also, NAVY played last yrs game with a backup QB..
ALSO.. Riess and Woods are out. Do you really want to lay 14 pts?
I'm taking NAVY purely off of this post, I don't even care if I lose lol.

beastmod3 - thats really sharp of you considering you have 2 posts on this site. and what was the score last year...that's right 56-14 Notre Dame..actually ND returns 14 starters.
in addition to conveying no substantial rationale either way in this matchup, you criticize me for providing a motivational basis for N Dame wanting to repeat the rape they put on Navy last year...sure Wood is out, but Riddick moved to RB in the spring, and he and Atkinson are ready to shoulder the load. I ran circles around in capping bro...you come across as loud mouthed chump...FUCK YOU
take navy, you fucking loser, depart with your money...you fucking asshole..

I guess civility is lost in these forums, but who really cares I suppose. Though the game is Sept 1... August is the wettest month in Ireland. I wonder if the pitch can hold up to the rigors of American football? Anyways... I'll take the points here and hope the Mids can keep it within 2 TDs.
