I'm not playing this one but line opened @ Tide-6 and now is down to 4.  I would wait until line drops even further.  I like Alabama to win this one if they can overcome Tigers defense.  BOL everyone.

Yes but will LSU overcome Bama's defense.  Plus coaching edge goes to the Tide.

Looks like public is going with LSU.. I watched LSU played very closely and they are too good to lose to any team.  But Alabama clearly have better stats.. Hopefully spread will go down to 3-4 so I can take Alabama and under.  Large on under.  Might even parlay Bama/Under

Alabama has better offense and defense (also the game is at Bama) so have to think Alabama -5 is the play

LSU for the motherfuckin large, if ever their was a pick em game this should be it, alabama -1.5 or 2.5 because they are at home max,  4.5 in a game like this is huge, either way I don't think LSU needs the points, they win this one straight up. I expect some trickery by les miles somewhere along the line as well.

I like LSU heavy and have already bet them at 4.5 before it goes down further. I was at the LSU/Auburn game and this may be the best LSU team in school history. I, like everybody already knew of their speed but when I got to see them up close and live. I could not believe how kids that big could be that fast. The numbers do favor Bama slightly but who have they beaten, Penn St? Lets not forget that Bama has the #1 defense but hasn't played an offense with much of a pulse. LSU has faced 3 top 10 offenses in the nation. Plus, I like the fact that LSU has won 8 of 11 and 4 of last 5 in Bama. BOL to everyones picks

thinking o f playing 'bama on the ml and taking LSU with the spread.  hoping I might get a middle this way.  do you think it is a good idea or no?

LSU to cover the spread for sure. They have an aggresiveness that Bama can't match. It'll be an interesting game.

  Agreed Colonel.  These are two excellant teams no doubt but with the game in T Town I will lean on Bama.  I like there defense more and coach even more.  Who knows, we may see these teams play again...

Both defenses are A-MAZING. Both offenses are A-VERAGE. However, I think the animals on LSU D will finally give Alabama QB a welcoming to the big leagues. Alabama has only given up 8 sacks all year, . Can he handle 3, 4, 5 brutal sacks and still keep his head on straight?

Still like Alabama at -5, but the total is intersting to me.  At first glance under seems to be the bet.  Two great defenses with tons of NFL talent.  I have a hunch though that there will be a few big quick strikes as these offenses are both capable and maybe even a defensive touchdown or two.  Looking hard at the Over
