Yeah, I don't get how a team can get into Oct without playing an away game. It's like NCAA BB where teams play their first 13-14 games at home.

Anywho...Michigan walks all over NW. Michigan may not have taken out anyone of high caliber yet, but NW has lost to some pretty meager teams, hell, they barely got by BC. Give me those points!

PERSA IS BACK... all games before illinois mean absolutely nothing.

They should have beat Illinois on the road, but Northwestern found a way to choke it away as usual. I expect the same here. Either a Northwestern victory or a choke at the end, but still keeping it under 7 pts.

Dan Persa is back, true, but that doesn't have a measurable impact on the defense's past performances - including their giving up 21 points in the final quarter to Illinois. Also, while Persa is back, he's also rusty and banged up. He didn't play in the first three games this year, and in just over three quarters against Illinois he was 10 of 14 for 123 yds. and rushed 10 times for 14 yds. Given all this, I doubt he'll be the offensive threat he has been in the past.

if you followed northwestern at all last year you'd know that their defense always blows up in the 4th qtr when holding a lead. They still usually keep it within a score. With Persa last year they were 7-3. Without they were 0-2. Michigan has beaten up on absolute garbage teams this year. The only decent team they've played is notre dame. Expect Michigan's defense to come back down to earth as they are finally playing another team with an offense... not minnesota or eastern michigan... two of the worst teams in college football

Michigan gained 322 yards on the last 20 plays of the game, or 16.1 ypp, spanning 5 drives, but according to you, that happened in the last 2 mins in change?!  

Meanwhile ND had a near 400 to 100 total yd advantage earlier in the game, only to finish the game with 60 yds more total O than UM and had 2 possessions during the aforementioned final 5 UM possessions where they punted on 3 plays gaining 4 and 7 yds respectively.

Clearly ND dominated most of the game, but no where near what you have stated.

If you don't know what u r talking about or you are   making a run at the board fade don't spew misinformation to the rest of us on a betting board where accurate information is critically important.

I watched that whole game, Illinois (more specifically Scheelhaase) tried to give that game away - fumbled twice in Illinois territory, which gave NW a short field for 2 of Persa's TDs.  The announcers even said it was deja vu when it happened in the 4Q because it happened in the 1Q almost exactly.  Then there was the awful INT in the endzone by Scheelhaase.  All 3 mistakes could be a 21 point swing, if not that, then for sure a 7 point swing.  NW also lost Trumpy, have a freshhy RB in there now.  Persa is also immobile, as he showed last week.  Sure Persa may be the best QB on UM's sked so far, but lets not get excited about the near choke by Illinois last week. Should have been an easier game for Illinois to win, but it was a hell of a game to watch!
