I have no problem losing money on the Canes here. I think those two losses at the end the season will not set well with this club. They will want to start the 2011 season with a win. They get it done against the Irish.

Reminds me of my time at the U! The ND fans financed my education. Hope to see some of them and thank them for their $$$. Take THE U and the points, and the over!

15-7 all time......knocked Miami out of the title chase in 88 and 90, winning 2 of the last 3 games against some of the best teams Miami could cheat with.....winning one championship and accounting for 2 of the Canes 4 loses during that span......and those where your glory days. Isn't it funny, when you can't bring in illiterate kids and let them run wild through your program and embarrass, what is a fine academic institution.....you can't win?? Miami's home games now days look like the Papa John's Pizza Bowl crowd......3/4's of the stadium empty for a home game!!! They had 27,000 in attendance for the last game of the year when So. Florida came in there and broke your hearts!!! Not saying ND is a better team or any closer to those glory days........but the day ND has 27,000 people at a home game and not a sell out of 80,000 is the day hell freezes over. The 30 for 30 ESPN documentary on Miami's program was an absolute embarrassment and an indictment on one of the most shameful times in college football's history. Those teams of that day would never be allowed to exist in the modern NCAA oversight environment. Enjoy the memories my friend.....that's all you'll ever have.......Meanwhile, ND fans look forward to the revival one one of the greatest, yet short lived rivalry's in college football over the next few years. No more Catholics vs. Convicts.....Randy did at least clean up your program........now you can find out how hard it is to win championships without cheating and having some of the highest academic standards in the country is.........now do it 7 times.

Miami QB on coach Shannon getting fired before this game: "I'm very disappointed," junior quarterback Jacory Harris said. "Coach Shannon is like my father figure."
Meanwhile, ND QB Tommy Rees led them to a 3-game winning streak to close the regular season -- including a 28-3 win over Utah and a 20-16 victory at USC.
I'll take the QB in a better mood, and the team going in a better direction. Also happens to be the team getting points, in a game NOT being played in Florida.
ND +3 for 2.5 units.

one week hes hating on his irish, now hes all over them cuz he hates the U. lol.
Miami is going to romp these bums.
Although I I respect you Irsh Eyes. I do think that Notre Dame will get beat up this game. Harris is healthier than they they say and I think he can pull this off. By no means is Irish Eyes a bias capper. If you do the research on his capping of Notre dame, he never bet with his heart. He capped games and told you many times to go with the opposte team. Good luck to all, but must take Hurricanes 35-17. I hope Irish you will not go with your gut and bet against the Big Ten, they will make you money this bowl season. Steal of bowls will be Northwestern my friend!!!!!

Can't pull for a team that still lets some "unknown" player still suit up after he pulled some type of sexual assault on some chick that ended up making her feel as if she had to kill herself to just get out of the whole situation. I know its a god given right for ND football players to do whatever they want but c'mon what they got some kinda Skull & Bones campus cops workin' up there or what?? --MIAMI -3 & VER 47

Miami's running attack of Berry and Miller will set-up Harris to have a big day with his arm against the Irish. Moreover, Miami's stout defense will be too much for freshman QB Tommy Rees.
Winning the turnover battle will be key in this game. I look for Miami to look like the Miami of old and spring into 2011 with a Sun Bowl victory.

You as a Cards fan can understand the Irish suffering of the last 20 years.....bad coaching hires will destroy programs quicker than anything. I hope you guys can land Ryan Mallet out in the desert my friend. He would really go a long way to instant improvement. And tell the Bidwells to stop letting studs go to other teams.....that never helps......

who cheated more unlv basketball or miami football? serious question
Only God knows that one.....but look at the trail of whacked out flakes those programs put into society. A linebacker that was involved in a stabbing death, that is still lauded by the NFL and our society. A hall of fame WR that was caught numberous times with coke, once in a hotel room snorting it a hookers belly while his wife was at home breast feeding their new born.....who has been fired from every talking head job he has every had........awh...it ain't even worth it.....Miami backers, GL. At least the rivalry has been fired up again......I for one have truly missed it for the last 20 years. The next few meetings will be very anticipated.
I'll roll with my Irish and the under......Jacory throws it to the wrong team to much and ND has a freshman under center, not a recipe for too many overs.
