I'm on Ok St.  They struggle against teams that have a decent defense, but that is not the case here and they can score with the best of them.  I don't like Gundy's decisions to often take points off the board and not kick FGs and mismanage the clock before halftimes with the no-huddle, but gonna roll the dice here and take the hook before the line moves down.

Not sure why Tech is giving more than a field goal.  Seems a little sketch as I am sure public will jump on OK State.  May put a small play on the Red Raiders

See a very close game with Texas Tech possibly prevailing. I am more than willing however, to go with:

OKLAHOMA STATE   +  3.5

I love oklahoma state, but the home team wins this game EVERY year. Weeden's numbers are kinda skewed as well. He hasn't looked nearly as good as his stats would indicate. Will be sitting this one out and rooting for OSU, but if I were to put money on it I'd go with tech

Texas Tech is clicking on all cylinders on offense right now.  I think they get it done at home this week after an impressive tune up against a solid Baylor squad last week.

TT -3.5

Okies haven't won in Lubbock since 1944!  I expect that trend to continue.

TT -3.5

The last three games TT is 1-2 wins and 1-2 ATS,average score 32 to 38

Okla.St is 3-0 wins and 2-1 ATS , average score 52 to 30.

If TT is clicking right now I'll take Okla St. and 3 1/2

The Oklahoma Sooners return to the field after an off week as they host the Iowa State Cyclones

This years version of the Oklahoma defense has been soft late in games and while in most of their games the Sooners have been well ahead, the opposition have been allowed to get back into it and make it close. For the season Oklahoma opponents are averaging 22.8 points and 411.6 yards against.

The Iowa State Cyclones have played decently in spots but as this is their third game this year against a ranked team, they haven't fared so well in their earlier two. ISU lost to Iowa in game two and last week allowed 68 points to Utah while putting only 27 points on the board themselves.  Austen Arnuad has been inconsistent at QB Completing 57 percent of his passes for 958 yards and eight touchdowns while throwing seven interceptions.

Oklahoma is 0-5 against the spread in their last five following a cover, 10-4-1 against the spread in their last in their last 15 conference games, and 2-7-1 against the spread in their last 10 following a straight up win. Iowa State is 5-1 against the spread in their last six as a road underdog of 10.5 or more, 6-2 against the spread in their last eight following a game they didn't cover, and 2-5 against the spread in their last seven following a bye week. But, Oklahoma has covered in four of the last five meetings of these two.

This is a tough road game for Iowa against a rested Sooners team that owns them 10-0, but it appears to be a case of too many points. While I think the Sooners can score at will on Iowa, I'm not so sure they keep ISU down far enough to win by four touchdowns which is about what it will take to cover this number.

ISU + 23

TTech starting to come into their own. OK st has been living on the edge on their offense the whole year. Defenese ranked one of the worst in  the country. Adios cowboys, the texas petes take this one!

Cowboys averaging 52.5ppg and over 525 ypg. Brandon Weeden  passed over 1600yds and 18TDs through 5 games, and Cowboys have Kendal Hunters w/ 700yds on the ground, 6 yd per/carry w/ 9 TDs. Tech's def have some problems and allowed 45 ppg in their last 2 games vs. offenses. Cowboys 54pts last game and 8-1 ATS last 3 seasons. I like Cowboys and Over.
