 I am ALWAYS leery about backing the Vols as Favorite against anybody. However, I feel they get the job done here!

Tennessee   - 13.5      (1 unit)

TN is just awful on offense, but still decent on defense.  UAB has not played a team with SEC athletes, even if it is at the bottom of the talent pool.  Speaking of Poole, he should run for 200 against a team that is giving up 163 against weaker competition.  You won't get a chance to bet TN much this year but they will rock it against the few teams they are better than.  Vols will make all the gimmes aand this is one of those.

TN  and giving the 2 TDS       3 units

well said MC, SEC talent noticably different, know the sims boy and his family well having gone to his rival highschool, i'm not conviced TN has to score more than 24 to cover this spread, try to get in below 14 i suppose, but TN will likely be more in the 31-38 range which will hopefully eliminate a back door loss or push.

Lots of injuries on the Tenn team.  Their will be a lot of freshman starters coming in to this game . . I'm just saying. . . . beaware. . 

Laying 14 points on this TNN team is out ot the question for me, UAB may not have seen any SEC talent yet but damn its still a TNN team with no offense !
