I have no idea on this one... Anybody have any pertinent info regarding Michigan's injuries?
Lean: Michigan +4 (they looked good last week).
WR Roy Roundtree is doubtful but they are loaded at that position. Look for Grady or Hemmingway to step it up.
S Carvin Johnson is doubtful (sprained MCL). He's a true freshman in an already very depleted secondary. Thomas Gordan will start and played decently in the second half against Uconn.
I'm expecting both teams to move it with ease on Saturday and it will be a "who makes the least mistakes" and who has it last type of game. I'm sure Kelly is licking his chops watching a UM secondary that has lost 5 players in the last year (transfers, kicked off, injuries, and Warren getting horrible advice and leaving early). Allen and Wood should also find room running out of the spread and I haven't even mentioned Floyd and Rudolph. Crist looks slow in his reads but he should find plenty of wr sitting in a soft zone if Martin and Roh don't get pressure.
I'm also sure Calvin Magee is licking his chops watching the nd defense. Uconn lb's are better than nd's in my opinion and they looked silly. There were 40-50 mph wind gusts in Ann Arbor so they didn't even throw downfield last Saturday...look for more passing this week. They will want to load the box and spy Shoelace but good luck doing that against a spread. You'll be asking all your db's to go one on one. Robinson also has the speed to get past a spy and using a lb for that purpose means that's all he's doing most of the time.
Haven't seen a total yet but the over might be the play.
As a huge Michigan fan I can tell you though that weird things happen to them historically in south bend...that damn leprechaun!

Love this one. Yes, Michigan looked very, very good last week. They should have been pumped up. They have been getting blasted and have had their backs against the wall for months now. The fans are clamoring and the coaching staff has been under huge pressure. In comes UCONN, a good little team. I thought they could win a close one up there last week!! But, Michigan got going early, never had to deal with any adversity in the game and just got on a roll. Do you remember the defensive lapse last year for Michigan??? It was the worst statistical year for them in decades!!! Did they fix all that already???? The same can be said about ND's defense. They were horrible the last few years. Look at last years game!!! It went up and down the field all day and put up over 70 points!!!
Can Michigan come on the road against a very improved and totally different ND team than they have seen in years?? Completely new offense, new 3-4 scheme on D and serious threats downfield where Michigan has the biggest problems???? Uconn brought an ND castoff to the Big House last week at QB. Frazier never got higher than 3 string while at ND. All UCONN can do is run......ND will mix it up very well.
Stop Robinson, Michigan goes into a panic!!! ND has 4-6 different guys that need to be stopped......Crist, Floyd, Allen, Wood, Rudolph. The home team in the series is 9-2 the last 11 SU!!! I'll take the Irish..........all that said.......I live in South Bend. Take it with a grain of salt.

Wolverines have a hard game at hand and definitely test them and see what there made of this year but at the end only one team will stand alone. MICHIGAN ALL THE WAY +4

Robinson ran loose on UCONN last week, but Notre Dame should be able to contain him better. I liked what I saw out of Notre Dame's offense last week, and Crist should be able to do some damage against an inexperienced Wolverine secondary. The Irish offense has the weapons to move the ball effectively against UM, and I expect them to break 30.

Notre Dame - 3.5

Good insight Irish and Michigan won last year at home so it's payback time for Notre Dame.

michigan qb looked like pat white out there last week. I dont think ND defense has any kind of answer for it - as such I like the wolves with the points

Damn! Got some of my bros on the other side on this one. I went against Michigan last week and took UCONN and of course Michigan decided to prove me wrong.
I just like Michigan here expecting a close game that will come down to a winning field goal.
Michigan final +4
Aloha and good luck to all

really like michigan +3.5 in this one. robinson had a huge game last week, and i dont see how ND can stop the dual threat and his running abilities. should be a great game to watch.

Looks like this will be a tough loss for ND backers. They moved the ball so well on the first drive, but Crist's injury appears to have been a major deciding factor.
