#4 Posted: 11/2/2009 8:59:02 PM I like LSU in this game. Reason (Besides them being MY TEAM) last year when Alabama came to DEATH VALLEY, LSU had the game in their back pocket & lost it in OT. The game SHOULD NOT have gone into OT, LSU SHOULD'VE won the game in regulation. Last year, too, LSU was NOT as good as they are this year & Alabama is basically the same (Real good) & LSU had Bama beat last year & blew it!! This year LSU is MUCH MUCH better & I see them beating Alabama!!!!!!
Final score: LSU 28 Alabama 24 |

#6 Posted: 11/3/2009 1:39:17 AM If this game was before the Florida game, I believe LSU had no chance of winning the game. But since the Florida game, Les Miles criticize OC Gary Crowton for being to conservative on the play-callings, and the playbook has opened up a little more, since. I still think they can be more explosive, but maybe they are saving some of their plays for this game. However, I doubt that.
LSU under Miles has been known for playing ultra conservative in SEC games, especially against big rivals. You will hardly ever see them go deep and challenge the secondary. I just hope they change course and play like they have nothing to lose. Afterall, it's an Alabama-Florida world right now, what do they have to lose.
LSU is very capable of beating Alabama, and they get a 9pt lead before kick-off. If they lose this game, it will be on Gary Crowton and his conservative play-callings.

#7 Posted: 11/3/2009 2:50:08 AM LSU +9 is my play. I think they have a good chance of winning the game. It will be a defensive battle. Under as well.

#8 Posted: 11/3/2009 5:16:03 AM Uh-oh I agree that LSU + the points is probably the play......but SEC ref's seem to have a FLA/BAMA title game all but locked it, and that kinda scares me |

I agree. I capped it at Bama -16.5. I think the extra week to rest and prepare helps Saban's boys this week... |

I'm an SEC fan, and I agree. SEC ref's are some of the shadiest in the nation. That's why homefield advantage is so important with small spreads. If the spread was DD, then controversial calls only happens when the favorite, home team, is losing or showing signs of losing. But who knows, maybe they are honest mistakes

#11 Posted: 11/3/2009 8:54:15 PM I feel Bama is WAY over rated.... There....I said it.....They have had a fairly easy schedule....and this is their toughest test. LSU will give them all they want.
They have trouble scoring....and keep average teams closer than they should.....Their Last 3 games:
VS Tenn 12-10
VS So. Car. 20-6
VS Miss 22-3
I truley believe that LSU is a better team than All 3 teams listed above....and also believe that LSU can upset the Crimson Tide in Death Valley! Unless the officiating has a different plan!
Stong play with LSU!!

#13 Posted: 11/3/2009 10:22:16 PM ejdave, they are not playing in "Death Valley", but at Alabama. So you know the calls will not go in LSU favor.

#15 Posted: 11/4/2009 6:46:14 PM I understand game is in Bama...I just think without the refs bullshit calls, they could be Bama....IN Death Valley.....where they would not get as many bullshit calls against them...
Sorry I was not clear. Kinda like Indiana last week in Iowa, when Iowa was down....Indiana got questionable calls against them, and shitty spots on 3rd down conversions....and a touchdown reversed, when it clearly was a touchdown....UNDISPUTABLE EVIDENCE my ass!
Dsummer4--up yours DORK!~

#16 Posted: 11/4/2009 10:06:36 PM I understood EXACTLY what you meant ejdav....fuck the others....keep posting bro because I really like looking at that cowgirl! I like LSU, but hell...the line has already dropped a point and a half. I will take a little of that now and a little ML on saturday beouches. Bama damn good, no question about that, but have been teetering on the edge with a couple of games....if they teeter with LSU, could be on the wrong end of the result messing up all the plans for that semi-final BCS game in Atlanta everyone has been talking about....another reason to take the points....all the pressure on bama

#17 Posted: 11/4/2009 10:27:48 PM If Bama doesn't win this game, you know what I think they might become? Another USC team. Every year they are contending to get into the big game, but always come up short b/c of one loss. But that doesn't make them a bad team, just unlucky.
This is the SEC, the worse conference to go undefeated in. Does anyone think Alabama can get to the BCS championship game, undefeated? Auburn was the only one to do it this decade, and got passed up for USC and Texas.
Based on this illogical assumption, I think if Florida gets to the SEC championship game, they will lose to a 1-loss LSU or 1-loss Alabama. If Bama is to get to the National Championship game, they are gonna have to lose somewhere in the regular season, and I think LSU has the best chance.
Simply put, I don't believe that an SEC team will finish this season, undefeated.

#21 Posted: 11/5/2009 11:44:08 AM Give me Bama all day on this. LSU will score at most 10 points. At home, rested and Saban. 24-10 BAma.
