USC is riding on their past.  I like Oregon. Strong D and O.  SC's offense is still suspect and their D can be scored on unlike the past.  They are NOT the 4th best team in the country.

USC -3 is a bargain. Barkley is getting better each week and Pete Carroll is opening their  playbook . USC have already lost 1 game this year. They will roll from now on..

Wow, wow, wow,  I am not saying Oregon isnt a good team, I actually hope that they beat SC for Boise's BCS sake, but it ain't gonna happen

after the boise loss (which wasnt as close as the score indicated), Oregon squeaked by: Purdue, Utah (completely overrated), then dominated Cal (who turned out to be crap) and lowly Wash St.  Came back with a good win vs UCLA, then a very nice win vs washington.  A nice schedule, but one worthy of top 12 consideration? I think not.  Now they are taking their fabulous rushing attack vs the #5 rush D in the country

For the record, Oregon opponents rushing defense rank:

Boise St #17 Loss
Purdue #81 Close win
Utah #69 Close win
Cal #30 Blowout, cal pass d=114 and oregon threw for 288-good gameplan
Wash St #114 Blowout
UCLA #83 win
Washington #91 good win

The homefield advantage @ oregon  is not to be taken lightly, but sc covers

Huge play on the OREGON ML after the line gets driven up by the public on USC.  Oregon is the real deal in the PAC-10 this year.  There defense is far superior to USC.  My general rule of thumb is to throw the first two games out of every team's schedule when handicapping.  Oregon have been dominant on both sides of the ball the past few weeks.  Masoli is back and playing well and the home field advantage will be a big factor here.  It will be similar to the USC vs OSU game only Oregon has the better offense this time around.  Oregon is still looking for a piece of that BCS.

It'll be hard to go against those Ducks

but this is the most pressure they'll feel so far

USC is the bearer of bad news in Eugene

USC played 2 good offenses so far ND and Oreg st both teams lit up USC and both have bad running games add Ore with a good running game and decent O spells time of poss trouble for USC. The freshman qb honeymoon is over u see what happened to Michigan now experience or lack of it will prevail.

USC's defense looked suspect against OSU last week.  Not quite sure if they were just cruising with their lead but that game should not have been as close as it was at the end.

I think USC is going to pound the rock and play action off of that.  Use that huge O-line to set the tempo and keep UO off the field.  Needless to say I like the under in this game.

If USC can't establish a run game, I think UO wins this game easily.  Ed Dickson could have a monster game.  OSU had a lot of success in the short to intermediate passing game against USC.

UNDER.

If the public moves the line a point or more, I'll consider a side.

USC has the talent to win this game... but they will be fighting an uphill battle on the road against a VERY good Oregon team that will be FIRED UP.

My gut says no play but my heart is saying Ore +3 just because that will be a much more fun bet to play.

after the boise loss (which wasnt as close as the score indicated), Oregon squeaked by: Purdue, Utah (completely overrated), then dominated Cal (who turned out to be crap) and lowly Wash St.

Lets look at this via the "common opponent" way:

Yes, Oregon "squeaked by" Purdue, the same Purdue team that BEAT Ohio St (which USC only beat by 3).

Both teams played @ Washington:  OU 43-19 / USC 13-16
Both teams played Cal: OU home 42-3 / USC away 30-3
Both teams played Wash St at home:  OU 52-6 / USC 27-6

Not my only way of handicapping, since this method doesn't account for how teams matchup differently with other teams, but it shows that while the defenses are similar vs the same opponents, the OU offense has had a significant edge in these matchups.  When it comes down to it, I think the Ducks offense becomes too much for USC to handle here.

Dont know about this game. USC looks vunerable to a good team after the last two weeks, but usually find ways to pull out wins.

Oregon will also allow alot of points. Hmmm..OVER it is. 47 is a low number for this years game.

Yeah Mush Man is obviously a  BSU fan but until BSU plays real opponents they'll never get any respect. I want Oregon to win but that home dog tells me Vegas knows something and I'm going with them on this one.

This is a warning for all bettor’s not even sure if it will concern any of you but wanted to give everyone the heads up. About a month ago I found a website called Toutbuster.com. This is a website that proclaims to win you money if you subscribe to his picks. So I decided to give it a try for shits and giggles. He even posts his outcomes for every week under his “records” section on the website. First week (September 19th-25th) I was on it he lost over $10,000 dollars, thank goodness I don’t be as much as he does but either way I lost too. Luckily my subscription was for two months though. Well needless to say since that week he has been getting hammered and will also not update his website which would show that he has been losing for the past month and a half. He also said he would refund anyone’s money after a certain subscription time if he was losing, which he has not done. Long story short DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS SITE. HE IS FULL OF SHIT. Here are his most recent picks

10/26 Philadelphia Eagles Under 37.5 Bet $750 LOSER

10/26 Rangers/Phoenix Under 5.5 Bet $750 LOSER

10/27 Boston/Cleveland Over 188 Bet $750 LOSER

10/27 Lakers/ Clippers Over 206.5 Bet $750 LOSER

Here are his picks for tonight, you may want to fade these

10/28 Oklahoma City -9.5 Bet $750

10/28 New Orleans/ San Antonio Under 185 Bet $750

USC has been horrible ATS the past few years.  I'll take my chances and go with Oregon + 3 here.  Moreover, Oregon is underrated, USC overrated.  Plus Oregon is at home, and USC is not used to loud crowds.
