#2 Posted: 10/26/2009 2:02:14 AM With basketball season coming, NC is gonna pack it in for the year. There gonna get blanked 35-0. Va. Tech to a crapper last week. Time for Tech to get a decent bowl game. School needs it. NC's happy any bowl.

#5 Posted: 10/26/2009 4:26:54 PM We sure needed our 11 days off. We needed it so bad in fact that we canceled practice twice. This should be our first game with fresh legs since Nebraska. I'd be very impressed if UNC is not FSU hungover. Really like us SU here. Looking for some rushing Props.

#6 Posted: 10/26/2009 10:35:02 PM Carolina took a big swing last week and missed. I dont see them getting up for this one. Don't usually like laying this many points but I think line will fall which means jump on it. Va tech will be my play. |

#7 Posted: 10/27/2009 11:06:42 AM Locked in VA Tech -16.5 before it goes up.
Coming off a bye week and with their offense only being on the field for under 22 minutes against GA Tech the week before....look for this offense to be HUNGRY this game. Especially after that FSU O beat up NC in that second half just 6 days ago...look for a blowout
May take -9.5 halftime as well as soon as it opens
Any requests NC? Last words?

#9 Posted: 10/27/2009 12:24:07 PM I like Va Tech here but 16.5 pts is too many against UNC. Their worse loss this year was by 17 @ GaTech. other than their other losses were tighter.
I mights stay away from this game. Will wait to see what the total ends up... probably like the UNDER. small play. |

#14 Posted: 10/27/2009 10:34:13 PM That is alot of points for Vir Tech to cover a conference game- even if it is at home?I think the primetime factor will help motivate the Heels, too.Looking at UNC. As always- will watch the line. |

Talk to me my friend...the under drained me last night and I like your V-Tech boys in this one...tell me that they are going to lay the smack down on UNC.
Good luck to you and your boys my friend |

#16 Posted: 10/27/2009 11:54:46 PM Aloha my great friend!
I'll have a LOT more soon. However; UNC's front-7 is very good and basically 14 deep. We will not run all over them. Their Offense is 5th from last. Suggests a total to me. It has rained off and on here for 2 days. I wanna see how the Thursday nite weather looks before I lay anything on this one. Right now it reads like a nicer Wednesday; then cloudy with more rain on Thursday nite. I'll like go under here.

#17 Posted: 10/28/2009 12:20:21 AM The trends for this game DO NOT favor V.Tech.V.tech is not up to par against the run and that is what UNC seems to do best, however UNC will not be putting up 27pts against a dicey vtech defense, especially in vtech!!!! It all comes down to vtechs offense and how they move the ball against a kinda good maybe UNC defense. Looking at v.tech@half but not sure yet. |

#19 Posted: 10/28/2009 2:09:35 AM This is another classic opportunity for a tease that should middle any way you take it. V Tech -9.5 and NC +23.5 and the UNDER. But be careful with the total if you see the line drop too far, you may want to add a game from Sat. like Georgia Tech -5.5. |

Nice to hear from you Bigeiii.. Do you think this is going to be a defensive battle? I am thinking of taking the Under in this contest. I don't see how N Carolina score more than 14 pts with their inept offense. Just hoping NC Defense can hold off V Tech and cover the high spread.
Leaning NC +17 (hook) Under 42..

I'd be weary on that G.Tech game. I've been fortunate to have been on the winning side in the Gtech games but I smell struggle and a cover from Vandy,(not playing this one) they are a sleeper team! V.tech will win this Thursday game by 10 but I don't know about 17?! I see a late cover possibly by UNC, thats why I think V.Tech@half -10 or less is the safest bet.... just my opinion. I also like that Cal game. |

#24 Posted: 10/28/2009 10:50:29 AM passing on this one. NC has a very good D and that could twist this outcome. Love Tech normally but not here. |
