Really? I went to that game and we looked really, really, bad. We were on the verge of only scoring 3 pts for that game if Fresno did not call off the dogs(42-3 through 3Qs). This will be Moniz's first start on the road and I don't think he can learn the offense fast enough to keep up with Idaho. I can go on and on and on about how Moniz did.
But here is something, can Hawaii's Defense stop the run. You have two running backs for Idaho who split time. DeMaundray Woolridge(Avg 6.0 ypc with 8 TDs) and Princeton McCarty(Avg 6.1 ypc with 2 TDs) that Hawaii can't stop. The only plus in this game for Hawaii is, Idaho's QB(Enderle) who throws alot of picks. He threw three of them(6 for the year) in last weeks game against San Jose State. If Idaho can keep the Ints down, and run the ball against Hawaii's crapy D, Idaho will run away with this game.
Idaho is the play here, but I have to wait till my local line comes out.
Idaho 1H for 2.5 Units
Idaho game for 5 Units

@BYP that game was @ san jose, a notoriously tough place to travel to, which explains why (then 4-1) idaho was a dog there.
I watched the idaho/csu game on the internet (oops!) and that qb looked really sharp coming down the stretch vs csu.
Hawaii does NOT travel well....but here is the one thing that i will need to find out before pounding idaho---
After the incredible lack of success that Moniz had, will Mack, Lee & Rolo go back to the spread option type attack with Funaki that was so effective on the road at fresno last year?
This would worry me, because with the addition of Alex Green, UH now has 2 backs with speed, which would help pull off this attack even better than last year.
If they insist on staying with the true run-n-shoot, I think that they will get slaughtered, as Moniz couldnt hit wide open recievers in last weeks game, practice or not it wont stop his inaccuracy come gametime.
Oh and btw, if Zorn goes does Brennan get the axe as well? Maybe that woudlnt be such a bad thing, as he may find a better fit in Denver or NE....

Moniz is a walkon who delivers pizza after school. Idk...if we can't run in the ball from the redzone on multiple occasions (unlv, latech, and fresno), why would an option offense suddenly work miracles for our beleagered Warriors?
12 point underdogs to Idaho?!!! Who woulda thought it possible?
I am more interested in BYU, Arkansas, and Boise St.'s upcoming games.

@ Mush_Man: As of today, they have not talked about them going back to that type of Offense at all. I think the coaching really likes how Moniz played for his first game and they were talking him up. I went to the game and was watching how he throws the ball. He is so new, he was not doing any check downs when he was going to throw the ball. He was looking at his target the whole way. That is why he got picked two times. I'll give Moniz this, he is very flashy and looks like he can run like Funaki. He seems faster than Funaki.
For someone to learn this type of Offense in such a short time, you have to be very special like Colt was. It will take time for Moniz to learn this Offense...and this being Moniz's first road trip as a starter?

Yo, dude i feel bad for you, unless you bet fresno....I was watching on tv (got the ppv package) and it looked like it sucked out there with the rain and all. I don't see any value in Hawaii here, although this game is a must win to preserve any slim hopes of a bowl game. Here begins the fall off that slippery slope
@Idaho: Lose Boise: Lose monumentally @Nevada: Lose Utah st: maybe Nmex st: possible @San Jose: not likely Navy: Lose big Wisconsin: Lose real big
Find me 5 wins in the next 8 games and I'll renew my hawaii bowl tickets!

My bruddah you know that we suck when Idaho has a better record than us and is favored in this one. I never thought I would ever see that.
Is Idaho still playing in that stadium that looks like a practice bubble?
I would think coach Mack would put Funaki back at QB....anyway not wagering on this game but good luck my bruddah

I sat in the rain Saturday nite to watch the pounding we took. Only satisfaction was 55-50 bet I had placed with a friend at the Cal Hotel to win on FSU at -10.5. I think this team is broken and the fix is not happening soon. I will be in LV on the 24th so I will pound Boise that weekend. Also had won 50 on the GB-MN MNF on the over. Put all the winnings on Yankees to win the series. Did well here on Sunday when Minny pounded St. L.

@Michfan15---Not sure, but my guess is that Idaho's pass d is ranked pretty low, 100/120 i beileve, where that is hawaii's strength.
As stated previously, Hawaii does not travel well, and are down to the 3rd string qb (moniz) playing all year w/o #1 receiver (lane).
Idaho's strength seems to be passing, and hawaii has good defensive numbers for that, but the numbers are skewed, as teams dont need to pass when they rush for 300+ (la tech and fresno)
Line movement scares me, so im gonna scale my bet back to Idaho, small play.

Just wanted to add....I hate to be a homer but if we had M.Lane all year we would have 4 legit receivers (Salas, Bradley, Pilares and Lane) and quite possibly be 3-2 (UNLV). Also we would probably be favored in this game if we had lane, and alexander did not get hurt.
I never thought Alexander was any good until I seen what else is out there.
Over is a distinct possibilty for this game

I absolutely love this Idaho team. I saw them play UW and I really liked their version of the West Coast O! I have been riding this team for the last 4 weeks and will continue the rest of the way. Hope they stay UNDER the radar for a few more weeks! Also, if your book allows you to do Team Totals and it's inside 31 this week take it!
