I jumped on the -13.5 before it grows to 14 or more..  OSU is rolling along nicely and Purdue isnt much of a challenge.  Although Purdue stood up pretty well against ND and Oregon but lost by 15 to Minnesota last week..

One thing Tressel teams do is learn and improve after every game. By season's end, this will be a top contender. I like Alabama, Florida,Texas, USC (maybe)....but then it's hazy...the Sooners, LSU??  However Tressel expects the Bucks to be mentioned right there right after those elites by bowl time...after we beat the Wolverines in the big house by 7+.

I'm a long time follower but I had to make an account just for this line and post about it. Vegas has to be out of their minds on this one. Maybe they put the line up basing it on last year's game? I have no idea. Pound OSU -13 before the line jumps. OSU will win this game by at least 3 touchdowns.

I am with thrice...I had to register just to comment on this alone.  I have no idea how the line can be lower than 2 TDs.  tOSU defense is dominating and Purdue is on a 5 game losing streak.  tOSU offense didn't play very well against Wisconsin but they will find themselves against Purdue.  Purdue is turning the ball over and tOSU is forcing turnovers...Weather is not a factor..suppose to be clear after Thursday showers for the next week or so....

Purdue outplayed Minnesota last week but just kept making stupid mistakes that cost them dearly.  It is only a matter of time before they get their act together because they aren't as bad as their record.   Just saying, don't bet the farm.

tOSU is forcing turnovers and Purdue is turnover prone as of late...I would say the turnovers trend repeats with tOSU defense.

I am all over OSU -13 1/2 - they got outplayed last week against the badgers, but they will bounce back here in a big way

Really like Ohio St. here. Their defense should cause a lot of turnovers in this game. Not only because they are a very good unit but because Purdue loves giving the ball away. Minnesota destroyed this Purdue team in the second half of last week's game. I expect OSU to do the same in this week's game.

ohio st has been good to me in the past due to that defense..purdue is really bad, ohio st at worst wins this by 10, hopefully 14 tho

Field in w. lafayette is very sloppy - rain all day( saw on local news and described as Mushy). looking at Bucks/ under. I am looking for a typical buckeye smash mouth type of defense and more offense after last weeks dull performance where defense scored more TD's than the offense.

Hmmmmm, Purdue losses have been
     Oregon by 2
     N Illinois by 7
     Notre dame by 3
     Northwestern by 6
     Minn by 15
 
Except for last week (when Minn had a blocked punt for a TD), Purdue has played every game under double digits.  Plus, rainy and wet field, negates some of Ohio State's speed advantage.

You might want to check your stats. Purdue kicked the crap out of Toledo

purdues lasy 4 games were lost by a totle of 18 pts and last week they outgained minn 420yds to 282 but lost by 14 the bucks have a few players battling the flu bug/prudue is 4-1 ats last 5 vs the bucks/ohio st comeing off a big win/ I thank purdue covers/and takeing the under;;;;;;;;;;;;;;feed the dog

Rainy and muddy field
Purdue has a qb that moves them down field.  Their RB is ok at best.  Purdue prob can't run against Ohio's D.  Passing in the bad conditions would probably lead to TO.
Ohio has a Good QB but to me he is a game manager.  Doesn't make spectacular plays but makes the ones they need.  Short simple and good yardage.  Ohio has a couple of good backs which they will use during this game.  This game will be sloppy and slow.  I see the score for Ohio 28 and Purdue less then 10.
