#2 Posted: 9/21/2009 10:30:33 AM Congrats to all who took UGA over Ark. This week, look for UGA to continue with its Jekyll and Hyde theme. The offense will be a little flat versus an improved Az. State. This week, the difference will be Georgia's defense, as they lay waste to the Sun Devil offense.
With all of the Bulldawg nation calling for the head of d.c., Willie Martinez, look for the Dawg "D" to come up big as Georgia cruises to a 31 - 10 victory in Athens Saturday night.
My money will be under on any total of 50 and above. Also, like UGA to cover, but as my nickname implies, I hate taking favorites.
Good Luck! |

A Georgia team that has given up 78 points in the last 2 games give me no confidence to play any UNDER here....Looking at the OVER here... |

Georgia will be thinking "breather" here. ASU doesn't have much D. Over and ASU +12.5 |

#7 Posted: 9/22/2009 10:49:18 PM the question is how many penalties will uga commit? how many were in the last game? like 52 between both teams. don't bet on uga this season until they get to their hard games like lsu and fla. then fade them. they will lose at least 5 games this year imo, that weak defense is going to make them look like shit a couple times this year big time. the best thing to do is no play this game. you can't rely on the uga team to show up. they are starting to remind me of clemson. |

#8 Posted: 9/23/2009 11:03:30 AM I DEFINITELY like Georgia in this game. Even though, Georgia has given up a lot of points so far this year, look at who they have played....... Okla St, S. Carolina & Arkansas. These teams can score the points. As for Arizona State, they have played 2 games this year, against 2 teams that are TOTALLY & I mean TOTALLY cupcakes, Idaho State & ULM. In the last 9 years, Georgia has a 47-10 home record. As for Arizona State, their road record in the last 9 years is sub 500......18-27. So, with the explanation that I have given, with no doubt in my mind, Georgia will win this game.
Final Score: Georgia 38 Arizona St 21

#9 Posted: 9/23/2009 9:35:01 PM Looks like everyone is taking a big dump on the UGA defense, and justifiably so...
But, in the immortal words of Lee Corso, "Not so fast, my friend!".
Look for the Georgia defense to pull this one out for the home team in an otherwise "flat" performance by the dawgs.
23 - 10 Georgia.
UNDER is the smart money here, folks.

#10 Posted: 9/24/2009 12:05:58 AM QUOTEI think everyone gets by now, you are a hater and can't keep your emotions in check. You have posted something similar in at least three threads. This is a betting site, not a High School graffitti contest. No one is asking for your "informed" projection of the season, just looking for input on this particular matchup. Go take the trash out and get your homework done.

this is your 4th post in this thread trying to sell the under to everyone who reads it. smarter money is on the OVER here...total is moving up from 50 to 51 now and will probably be around 52 by kickoff. GA defense is like swiss cheese...both teams will put up points in this one and Az St has played absolutely NO ONE so far. Their #1 overall defensive ranking in NCAA will not last past this weekend.

#16 Posted: 9/26/2009 10:16:11 AM I think the Dawgs cover the 12, but that is really close. Like the over better, but Dawgs are inconsistent on defense. If the D shows up, 50 will be hard to hit. Both plays will be small for me. |

#17 Posted: 9/26/2009 10:19:22 AM I go to ASU and been reading the school paper all week about the game. The team left on Thursday just to prepare for the 3-hour time difference.
The players have talked non-stop about last year's game with UGA coming into Sun Devil Stadium and spanking them. The players are definitely motivated.
UGA has a leaky pass D so I expect ASU to keep up with scoring most of the game.
It's hard to tell how good ASU really is but I think they can cover because of UGAs pass D.
Good Luck everyone |

#19 Posted: 9/26/2009 1:00:41 PM there is a warning for flash floods until 2:00 a.m. for atlanta and could hit athens.I don't see Joe cox throwing 5 td passes this week. Also Ga's #1 rb has a problem holding on 2 the ball.Should be low scoring game. And Ga. almost never covers.
going 2 take under if 50 or better and sun devils and points for small play on both |

#20 Posted: 9/26/2009 4:19:02 PM The time differential should not play a role in this game. 7pm EST start means 4 pm on the west coast. Georgia on the other hand had a good win against Arkansas last week and next week have LSU. Why would Georgia be concerned with Arizona State when they have LSU next week? |
