what is the opinion on this game? i think texas wins but i got to look at that line a little more.

UT in a runaway......Although as a Sooner I'd love to see the upset......Just won't happen this week.....Memories from last year in Lubbock haven't faded....McCoy has a big day.....

Tech covers.  They lost some great players, but they are even deeper this year.  It will be closer than people think and possibly another upset.

PlayingAngels.. Stop it.  With a veteran Texas group back that still remembers what happened last year and Texas Tech's loss of skill position players Texas will win this and cover.  Texas by 28.. Sharp

This looks like a pretty good line imo.  Texas has not played up to their potential on offense, primarily in the running game.  Tre Newton might be the guy to step up after last weeks performance and get the running game on track.  If Texas is one dimensional it will be a very close game, if the running game gets going I see this being a blow out.

Defense will hold Tech like they have in the past.  Texas has a top 5 defense this year and Muschamp has the pleasure of playing about 20 guys on def.  They havent shown anything special this year and have dominated both teams they play.  I see the defense opening up some new schemes and blitzes which should be tough on the first year Potts.  Texas will hold tech to under 24 barring there arent any deep TO or special teams hick-ups.

Overall, I would take tech in a slight lean at this point.  The running game of texas is suspect and tech's defense is good enough to keep it close (especially w/o a rushing attack)  I might look at the under on this one.

Tech had a big game last week against a cup cake. Possible let down spot.
 
Texas on the other hand did blow out opponents, in spite of not covering HUGE spreads. Perhaps that is why people would bet Tech.
 
I see Texas not taking foot off gas after what happened last year.
 
It is also a television game that I like to bet the Over on every year. Will see into it. Lots of passing by TT, means lots of clock stoppage.
 
I see a score of 38-21 Texas. Not sure if I'll bet the spread.

Tech has a starting Def End and starting Safety not on the travel roster for this game.  As well as another depth DE.

This is the "Hook Em" Ass whipping of the day! Tech stands no chance at all to cover this line. Texas 49-14. Longhorns and under! UNDER

Well I'm a Longhorn fan and still can't forget what happend last season and I'm pretty sure that the Longhorns don't as well. I don't have the balls to pick my Longhorns by I do feel this will be a shootout....

I agree. and I"m a Sooner and Texas fan.  (yep u read that rite...)   I'm playin over 66.  Texas should hit close to 40 just by themselves...if not more.  and TT knows how to score.  I was expecting an o/u of 72, but 66?   I'll take that.....GLADLY
