FSU should be able to run the ball very well. FSU avd 170 yds/game rushing last year and has the entire o-line back. Also Ponder is going into his second year as the starter and FSU led the ACC in scoring last year. This will be Jaccory Harris's 1st start in Tallahassee and look for FSU to win by at least 10 points.

Preface this with I'm as big a Canes fan as your are a Noles fan.......You're nuts if you think the Noles can score 38 on the Canes. In fact, with all of the problems in Tallahassee, you'll be very lucky to come away with a win.

We scored 41 on the Canes in Miami last year with the youngest oline in college football and a first year QB. Why wouldn't FSU be able to score 38 in Tallahassee with a better oline and a experienced QB?

Leaning toward FSU in this one.  Much improved OL this season, and Andrews finally appears to  have a healthy, talented defense again.  Bobby will make all the off-season controversy about the wins a rallying cry.  FSU at home on Monday night, better in the trenches, and Miami still getting their act together.  FSU wins this and covers the five.  Medium, 3X  play for me.

Haven't missed a FSU vs. Miami game since I was probably 5 yrs. old, so I know how these games unfold.  I am pretty sure FSU wins this game (and hope they do), but the games in this series live and die by the field goal.  I think Miami +5 is pretty safe.

FSU should win. I know it's FSU vs. Miami but i can't see FSU losing its season opener at home against one of their biggest rivals, not sure if they cover the spread though, my book has it at -5.5

Man - if this game hits 7 I'm taking the Canes.. too many points in this rivalry.. I'll take my chances.. so many times this matchups comes down to a field goal.. and even if it were a touchdown then I'm good at +7... Come on 7... Sharp

FSU looked pretty dominant to me last year when these two teams met.  If it wasn't for two botched special teams plays Miami would have been blown out.
Miami fans don't want to talk about how their team is going to loose the first 4 games of the season and how they might be lucky to finish with 4 wins.

Im not sure if your laughting at what I said about last seasons game or the fact that I think Miami will be lucky if they win more than 4 games all year.

You did watch the game last game season?  Two of Miami scores came off of botched special teams snaps.  One came off of a trick player and another off of Chris Ponder throwing up a lame duck interception within FSU's own five yard line.  That was 28 of your points right there.  You all were losing 24-3 at half time.
