adding florida st -6 to todays card with my cincy/rutgers winnings.
miami is hit hard by injuries, starting safety, db, as well as a linebacker out could spell some trouble for them. its hard to back a young team trying to prove themselves when their defense is out 3 starters on the road.

#83 Posted: 9/7/2009 6:55:29 PM OK this time i'll post something serious. Let me preface by again saying that FSU dominated the game last season. Miami had no business being in that game. FSU had 10 runs over 14 yards. Now a lot has changed since then.
On offense, I expect FSU to be better this year. Ponder and the o-line are both a year older. And mark my words Jermaine Thomas will be a stud. Carr was overrated and Bert Reed and Taiwan Esterling should be fine. The question I have for FSU is their defense. They are returning only 5 starters and the depth of the d is iffy everywhere.
Miami also had questionable depth on the d-line as they will be missing two de's. Not mention 2 contributors in their secondary. Another thing to mention is FSU now has a frosh kicker. The last you have to focus on is that Shannon is a complete moron.
If Miami loses this game they will start off 0-4. |

Big edge in the OL for FSU with all starters returning, and DC Mickey Andrews says this is the fastest defense he has had. QB edge to FSU, but question marks about the RB. I think the OL will cover that inexperience. Add home field advantage and the Noles should be able to cover a TD. This series has always had close finishes so I will tread lightly. An under looks good also, but I hate unders so I may not play that. |
