Both teams have late season surge to make it to bowl game, but Rugters is on fire right now. Mike Teel is playing over his head. Laying the 6.5 chalk BOL guys

OVER OVER OVER!!! Rutgers strength is the pass. Even if it is a good defensive game, Rutgers wil throw deep passes extending the game. Both teams qb's having dangerously efficient last 6 games. Get ya popcorn ready  38-30 Rutgers

I am a little concerned why the line is so low.

Rutgers arguably the best team to close out the season as they have been unstoppable for weeks!!  This game is over for sure and Teel has been amazingly efficient with the long ball.  Rutgers covers and this one is over by a mile!!

Rutgers has looked strong this second half.  Even their two losses against W. VA and Cincy were only by 7 and 3 respectively (and both those were road games....)  fgh

I lean Rutgers here but this is not a lock at -7. Rutgers is hot but NC State has won 4 in a row and the last 3 against bowl teams. Started the year slow but their Freshman QB is hot. Not a lay-up here like everyone thinks.

Teel finished hot but it took him 3/4 of the season to find his game ... can't help but think this layoff will hurt him ... too much time to think about all those td's he through in his last game ... i think teel will struggle no matter who the opponent ... gimme nc state and the points ...  good luck with your plays !!!

Rutgers is on a run for sure, but nobody has noticed that NCS is on a roll also.  Not great teams I admit but worth mentioning.

11/29/08 MIAMI W 38-28 W 2 O 50

Still a little iffy on the game though, this is a tough one.  Probably go tiny on the underdog.  I learned last year that when i'm really iffy on a game (and i can't lay off) that i should take the 'dog, especially a game in the south.

Radiators - NC State was a heck of a team the 2nd half of the season.  I'm on NC State... I know most will remember Rutgers last game and will have most people on them... but I remember NC State coming through with some tough victories against teams they were supposed to lose to.  I really like their freshman QB and he's going to cause problems with his legs.  So I'm on the Doggy Dog again +7 or more.  Sharp

We can not forget that Rutgers was a preseason # 10 I think in the polls. They played like it the last 5

i see value on this total.  both offenses avg out to 27ppg, while both defenses play out to 23ppg.  thats a final score of 50 - with the total at 56, i'll play the under.  the offenses have been hot for both teams to close the year, but the long gap in between games may result in some first half rust for each team.

*under*

North Carolina St - 24                    Rutgers - 21
Wolfpack +7                         under 56
Coach O"Briens record vs Rutgers 7 - 0 SU.
I'll take the points. He might improve to 8 - 0 with a break or two.
