#5 Posted: 12/10/2008 4:46:28 PM Agree 100% on Buffalo. I am a diehard Uconn fan but they are going to get their butts kicked here. This team has only one weapon, Donald Brown. The offense cant move the ball due to inconsistent play by Lorenzen and a lack of big play receivers. Uconn might keep it close for a while w their D, but the bulls will pull away in the second half. A no play for me, but if I was a betting this one it would be Buffalo ml without hesitation. |

#7 Posted: 12/13/2008 10:50:34 PM What has Buffalo had trouble stopping this year? Answer: The Run! What is the one thing Connecticut does well? Answer: Run! And Connecticut has a GOOD defense..... I'll take the Huskies! Sharp |

#9 Posted: 12/17/2008 4:44:59 PM Agreed Sharp. Uconn should be able to run well, and Uconns D will be enough. The dream season ends here unfortunately |

#10 Posted: 12/17/2008 5:14:31 PM So UCONN rushes for 44-225 against Pitt last game...
But when your QB goes 6/27 you have no hope in winning.....I still think Starks will run & run hard over this UCONN D....The Bulls played a tough game vs Ball St....God knows nobody picked this team to be in the MAC Championship..let alone win...Now a bowl game....Remember too...this game is almost a home game for the BULLS....right across the lake being in TO....the fans will be behind this team bigtime.....If Willy & Starks have a good day..the BULLS should roll...If you stop STARKS...you stop BUFFALO...nobody has yet...why now???....After watching UCONN play that ugly game last week vs PITT..My money is staying with the BULLS....good luck guys....I'm just happy to get a BOWL game in Toronto..... |

#11 Posted: 12/18/2008 1:01:56 AM Going with the Bulls here. Uconn's pass game was exposed against Pitt. Buffalo is playing well and close to home. Buffalo +4.5 for me.

#12 Posted: 12/19/2008 5:56:58 AM this is the impressive resume of wins Buffalo has put together this year: Temple, Army, Ohio, Mia-Oh, Bowling Green, Akron and Ball St...
1 quality win for the entire season... and remember that the Ball St win was a comedy of errors... very misleading final score...
UConn would handle every one of their defeated opponents... bargain basement for UConn backers... |

#13 Posted: 12/26/2008 4:13:08 AM That spread was 4 and now its 4.5 ....not sure why...I am all for the buffalo stampede....they got my funkin attention with the ball kicking game......connecticut is in the big east and cincinatti won that conference I believe and when I saw hawaii/cincy I wasn't impresssed with them either...so I am going with the points (a gift) and buffalo and vt and the points....gl |

No way SHARP.....Buffalo does not get blown out at basically a home game in Toronto.....Watch for Starks to run that ball hard & for Willy to air it out......

#19 Posted: 12/29/2008 11:12:37 PM greeneyedevils - I'm not going to try to convince you, I've stated my favorite play of the bowls and if you want to be on the wrong side of this game it's up to you - Best defense Buffalo has seen all year, and Buffalo's one weakness - stopping the run. Connect, strength - running the ball... and man can they run. This will be a wear them out type of game... the QB doesn't need to do much. And I wouldn't use the "basically a home game theory", It hasn't worked very well this bowl season. Please don't be your paycheck on this game - save yourself some mandatory OT for the next 3 months. #20 Posted: 12/30/2008 5:13:19 PM On the teams that each have played this season that went to bowl games or going .
Average score Bulls 26 to 30,and Huskies 16 to 24
In their last 3 games the Bulls have scored better.
So Bulls +4 |
