Tyrell Sutton Suffers Wrist Injury at Indiana

Omar Conteh to replace Sutton at tailback

Northwestern running back Tyrell Sutton (Akron, Ohio/Archbishop Hoban) suffered a wrist injury in Northwestern's Big Ten football game at Indiana Saturday afternoon.

Sutton, who left the game in the middle of the third quarter, is expected to have surgery sometime this week. A timeline on his return is unknown at this time.

Leaning Minnesota here....Northwestern showed exactly what I thought they were all year....weak. Especially losing to a sub-par Indiana team. Minny 24  NW 14

Another scary play with the Cats coming off a SU favorite loss, they will be looking to make amends. Gophers will have to play all 4 qtrs to win this one AND COVER......

I really like Minny here but it has gone to -7.5 now.  I'll wait until the am to see if it might come back down, but don't have high hopes.  Sutton is a GREAT back and will surely be missed big time.
