I'm not sure where the spread is going to open up, but Bama sure has looked strong this season.  I think this is going to be a close game, I could see it going either way.  JP Wilson hasn't looked really good, so it is up to the Bama defense and running game to keep them in it.  If it is around 3 or more I will probably take the Tide

This is going to be a hell of a game. This could let you know which one is for real if BAMA wins this they could win the West. I really dont know yet about the DAWGS they looked like crap vs S.Carolina then spanked Arizona. This is the beginning of the SEC beating up on each other.

Why does the spread have to be so dang high...I was hoping for a 3 point spread so I could take the Dawgs.  Looking like a no play for me.

But, something to keep in mind:

Mark Richt officially announced this game will be a blackout game on Sunday and is asking all the fans to wear black.  Remember what happened last year with the blackouts?  45-20 against Auburn and 41-10 versus Hawaii.

Also, Alabama's main strength on offense is running, and Georgia's strength on defense is against the run.  SC and ASU, I think, had less than 20 yards!

If history is any indication (last year), then this should turn out to be a great game.

This is Georgia's first TRUE marquee game of the season against a very formidable Alabama opponent. ESPN Gameday has announced they will be there, Mark Richt has announced it will be a blackout game, and you can fully expect UGA to run out of the tunnel in the black jerseys. All that creates a very daunting road atmosphere for an Alabama offense that has yet to any talented defenses (Clemson, Tulane, W. Kentucky, Arkansas) so far.

Early lean on UGA for the home field advantage and the fact this will be one of their first chances to topple a Top 10 opponent in style and prove their worthiness as a national championship contender.

Hopefully the "premise" of homefield being worth 3 points is accurate here.If so,Georgia wins and covers.

Last week I was totally wrong with Alabama and or totally wrong about Arkansas.  Still not sure which is true as this week will tell us all how good AL is against a GA team that has, at times, looked great.  UGA beat an undermanned PAC-10 team like they should have, but still looked like they had some wrinkles to iron out while AL had their way against a very sub par Ark team.   Probably going to pass on this one or tease up and take AL with 6 extra points as both teams willbe up for this premier SEC showdown.  It is early but I will take AL +6 and see it UGA 21 AL 17

it's quite simple... GA has ?'s on it's frontline on O.. Bama is dominating the trenches on D.
 
if the GA run game is slowed it will be very difficult for them to win.
 
Bama's OL has been opening holes big enough for trucks to drive through and has 4 legit RBs. GAs DL is good but not deep and they lost their best DL for the season.
 
noone has even threatened Bama this season as they are winning the 1st Qtr. 74-0 and have given up only 3 TD's ZERO on the ground
 
i'm loading up on Bama this should be a GA -1.5 game.

Alabama has not faced anybody worth a shit. Arkanas and Clemson are not that good. Like the Dogs to cover here. Not crazy about the line, but maybe alabama backers will lower it a little.

I'll be taking Alabama +7, can't believe it's that high, my thought was 5 or less, but WOW.  I'll take the points here also.... questionable offensive line for Georgia, awesome defensive line for Alabama.... I think this game comes down to a touchdown or less so I'll take the 7.... Sharp

who cares what you did last week... uga should have lost to s. carolina... they just may lose this game... alabama is for real this year... and by the way uga and fla were locks of the century last weekend... such easy picks, vegas fked themselves on those spreads...

Like I said at the beginning of the season, I would love to see Georgia go wire to wire.  and a small part of me still thinks its going to happen.  I think Georgia wins again, but I think Alabama covers.

I just head this 370lb noseguard Cody for Bama can dunk.....Whew!
 
Look for low scoring LSU/Auburn type of game here with a 7pt spread being huge....Bama could pull the upset but I like Georgia by 3....
