Ohio St - 30                     Minnesota - 24
Gophers +17.5
Buckeyes are 0-3 ATS so far this season.
Giving 17.5 might be a bit much especially against a big 10 opponent. Their confidence is shaken after that USC massacre.

I BELIEVE that Minnesota's DREAM of a perfect season WILL come to an end against a UNHAPPY bunch of Buckeyes that have been struggling BIG TIME in the past 3 weeks.
Final score: Ohio State 42  Minnesota 14: Even with out B. Wells !!

For the past few years, the Buckeyes was my favorite team to take at home, early in the year. They not only put up alot of points, but they nearly shutout all their opponents. This year has looked ugly for them. I hope they continue to beat up on their opponents, so I can take them again. But this their Big 10 opener, and not a game where I want to test the water with.

OHIO ST 1H AND GAME

MN isn't that good-They have a great QB-they better hope he plays the game of his life b/c the buckeyes will stop the run-

MN D is really bad-young and still learning how to competed-according to an interview with Head Coach prior to last weeks game-

OHIO ST 45
MN 14

I see Ohio State winning the game, but that is a lot of points to give to Minnesota who appears to be playing well.  Granted they really haven't played anyone yet...I think I would take Minn and the points +18

I know the history of this matchup, but this isn't the same Ohio St. team, Minnesota is feeling their oats this year, and many times a confident team going in will keep the games close (whether they win or lose)  Not sure yet if I'm going to play this one, but this line should go up and maybe I can get an +18.5  We'll see where it goes.  I do know I wouldn't take Ohio St.  Only play here is Minnesota.  Sharp

I am looking for Ohio State to finally cover in a game here, but to be sure, I am taking them in the 1st half as the moneyline is -500 and the line is -10.5, which is very true. Minnesota is not in their league. Ohio State has underperformed in evry way this year, but that was outside the Big Ten, where they are the cream of the crop. I plan on peeling back some long greens as I eat my breakfast Saturday morning.

Buckeyes 1st half -10.5

I'll take Minnesota........sweater vest doesn't have it in Columbus this year..........you can't keep getting your teeth kicked in year after year in the "game of the century" and the National Championship and expect to stay on top.........Big 10 is down this year.......and so are the Bucks!!!

OSU -18.5.  OSU's D will score a TD and the O will put up 28 more.  OSU will get embarassed no more + Wells is back.  OSU 0-3 ATS, but covers here.

Minny-14

OSU-35

i'm denfinatly not a osu fan!!
but the reality is what it is...
T pryor is now the starter and young and ambitious, slashing and throwing trying to be a star.
C Wells has been rested for 3 weeks, might score every time he touches the ball...
The defense is excellent, and going against a very young and outmanned team,HUGE advantage!!
Needless to say,the homefield advantage....
FORGET all the games untill this point. The BIG TEN confronce play starts now! PRIOR,WELLS,THE DEFENSE--all wake up on saturday!!!!!  Bucks win by atleast 30 points!!!

Is everyone forgetting this is pryors first start in the big ten he only passed for 130 some yards against troy??????????  he wont pass for over 200 yards granted they will run for 200+. OSU is yet to cover a spread agianst far worse opponents than minnesota.  Weber and the gophers are the play.

Minn +18.5 easiest play of the week.
potential teaser.

Troy can probably beat half the team in the BIG 10. They might play in the Sun Belt, but they're no door mats.

But I agreed, too many points for a Buckeye team to give, when they haven't proven anything yet.

I'm new to posting but have been using the excellent info in here all year.  Thanks for that!  Just wanted to say an excellent post by Iowafatts.  Tressel made himself the assistant offensive line coach this week.  The line has been the problem the entire year.  Four seniors and they can't block worth a garbage.  I don't know if he will help be the line will be his target for practice this week.  Also, the Bucks are a different team with Pryor at the helm.  Beanie is back.  They say about 90%.  I just wanted to throw a few things out there that may help you decide.  I wouldn't bet against the Bucks this week.  I'm not saying bet on them but be careful.  They may cover.
