anyone else remember last year's 62-14 ass-whooping in this game?  and that was with Kevin Smith... now he's gone, and i don't see it getting all that much better for UCF...

I'm pretty sure they lost their QB and RB from last year... and they only put up 17 against South Carolina St.-- are you kidding me?

USF should have them blown out by mid point of the 2nd quarter!

didn't lose their QB... he's still there from last year... but they lost Kevin Smith, who rushed for 2500 yds and scored 30 TDs last year... that's a lot to replace...

UCF did lose their starting QB, Kyle Israel.  They do have their top 3 WR's back.

South Florida is going to slaughter UCF in my opinion.  They did so last year even though UCF had Smith.   USF has virtually all of their skilled people back on O.

In addition, this is a turf battle between two up and coming Florida schools.  USF is further along, but UCF is coming on strong.  These schools compete for Florida HS kids who maybe aren't good enough to play for FSU, Florida, or Miami.  Granted, that battle will motivate both teams to play hard.  But, I just think that USF has the horses and that will show on Saturday.  Granted, the game is at UCF so that will help them some...

Vegas Line 14
My prediction
South Florida 35
UCF 10

I just want to warn everyone that this is certainly a look ahead situation with USF.  Kansas comes to town next for a big showdown on a short week.  SF will be more conservative than usual and especially in the second half.  That back door could be wide open folks.

This game looks so obvious it's scary, but my only possible play is a small one on Central or none at all.

Good luck guys.

UCF  moved into a brand new state of the art stadium last year ... they are 7-1 (5-2 ATS) in that  building with only loss to TEXAS. should be sellout and this wont be easy for USF , but if they dont make mistakes they should  win and cover.

USF is absolutely focussed on UCF.  These team's don't like each other.  O'Leary supposedly dissed USF before last year's game by saying "what confererence are they in, oh that's right, the big east."  USF showed them that they are not in UCF's league.   I believe 14 points in this game is very low.

This game is my #1 play this week.  Good Luck!

USF get's Kansas in Tampa.  They have Kansas on the back of their minds, but not too much to distract them form the asskicking they are going to give UCF.   USF is well coached, this team very focussed after last year's Sun Bowl slaughter to Oregon.

USF is potentially a top 15 team.  UCF is a top 80 team at best...

USF covers easily in this one, for all the reasons posted above..

the talent level is just too much for ucf to handle..

i stand corrected... UCF did lose their QB, but the guy they are really hyped about Greco, and i believe they were grooming him to be the starter last year...

either way, doesn't matter... USF is going to be a strong team, and its mostly about defense... but with Grothe they can put up points... obviously you don't like the look ahead spot... but this isn't a huge spread... i expect a 4 TD lead at some point, so a backdoor cover shouldn't be too much of a threat...

I can't wait for USF to fall off the face of the earth again. I'm sick of hearing about them.
