another def huge stand here boys... i see another shut out maybe, but no more that 13 pts, i say over if its around 44 like it should be... cocks put up at least 40 here, spurrier wants to keep scoring like he did the end of last game when he kept throwing for the endzone and running up the shut out more, and we have a grudge from last season meltdown... spurrier also was 14-0 last yr against vandy now 15-1.. gonna be a huge 16-1

Smelly didn't do anyting last year to keep his job.....and he didn't do anything in the spring to win it this year......he looked good in the fourth quarter of a game against a team that gave up after getting physically pounded all night. He isn't a savor.....or the answer at QB that Spurrier will need to take this team to the next step. I see Vandy as a home dog with enough defense to stop an average SC offense.......at least enough to stay within 10 points. I like the home dog and the under.......for now.

Last year, So Carolina lost the game because of turn overs. Three interceptions & one fumble. It will be corrected this Thursday. I don't believe in revenge factor. I believe in better preparation for the game.

Junior - Beecher 12/22 106 yds. 0 TD 4 INT (Starter for 1st. game)
Sophomore - Smelley 5/5 92 yds. 2 TD 0 INT
I'm reading that there is some sort of controversy... Why???
i probably shouldn't bother responding to this, because statistics speak for themselves... its just that most people can't read them...
what do these stats say? Beecher played during the stretch of the game that was competitive... Smelley did not...
Smelley threw a whopping 5 passes... that is what, in the world of statistics, we would call an insufficient sample...
the reason there is a QB controversy is because this is NOT the only sample available from which to evaluate the two QBs... this is NOT the first game they have played... Smelley is inconsistent... its wonderful he can come in during mop up time and throw a couple TDs... but i'm sure Spurrier would much rather see him come in during crucial times and not throw up duck after duck and pick after pick...
so THAT is why there is a QB controversy...

Hard game to figure out, SC didn't impress me at all last week. I really think that if NCST's QB didn't get hurt, they might of covered. Vandy, may not be as bad as everyone thinks. Still thinking on this one, but at first glance, the under looks good.

gococks... i watched it... the under on that game was one of my best bets last week... the score was 3-0 at halftime... there was no point in the game when anybody who bet the under should have been legitimately concerned...
are you trying to suggest to us that SC is an offensive juggernaut?

every year all the Spurrier bandwagoners and SC faithful are trying to hype us on this team, and every year they fail to deliver the goods... they pull off a nice win or two, but ultimately they are an also-ran in the SEC... definitely didn't see anything in week 1 to suggest this year is any different...
