I haven' been posting until now, but between both series, I believe I have 11 wins now. My most special win was calling Keselowski's first win 2 weeks ago. That one paid 19-1, and I had never wagered $1 on him before. I don't pick matchups. There's too many variables for the even money-like payouts. I only bet drivers to win. I learned early in the season that you can't put as much weight into past performances from other seasons. The C.O.T. seems to have changed the game. That being said, I use several methods to try & find the winner. I try to focus on who's been running well and giving themselves opportunities to win lately. Then u ask yourself a series of questions. Who's really hungry this week? Who was fastest in practice? I'm not always home for practice & qualifying, but it's also very helpful to pay attention to who has the fastest AVG. speed in practice, as this usually dictates who will be good over the long haul. Which drivers excel at this type of track? When you have all your answers, and you see where guys qualify, you do your best to determine who has the best value. Hope this helps you a little bit.

I love betting NASCAR matchups. How many bets and for how much depends on how much I'm up or down during the week. My betting is based on the week from Monday to Sunday. I usually don't bet the winner unless I'm up by a lot and want to try some long shots.
Before each race, I'll write down the matchups, then do some research. I get each drivers qualifying position, happy hour speed, and history at the particular racetrack. I'll add in which drivers seem to be racing well and who's struggling. I can usually find one or two matchups that look good. I've won more that I've lost, so I guess that's pretty good.
I know this is not a big secret, but you can find happy hour speeds on jayski.com
