#1 Posted: 2/23/2013 11:38:49 PM Thoughts and Prayers with every fan involved in yesterdays last lap Nationwide crash. Posting this Saturday night but the weather looks like garbage as of now. Par for the 500 course as of late. The good news is, Nascar has developed a track drying system this season said to cut drying time down by 80%. Believe it when I see it, hopefully we don't. Patrick at 13-1 on Dimes is laughable. She sucks, period. Hard to say what effect yesterday might have, hard to say how the new Gen-6 car will be raced today. My personal opinion, expect to see lots of single-file, expect to see the cream rise to the top. Doubt we see a Cinderella in this race. I'm betting small...could add Sunday.
To Win:
Tony Stewart +1200 risk $100 (bet365)
Kevin Harvick +900 risk $50 (bet365)
Joey Logano +3300 risk $20 (bet365)
Race Match:
Ricky Stenhouse Jr -140 v Danica Patrick to win $300
Maybe my final card but probably not...

#3 Posted: 2/24/2013 12:23:54 AM agree 1000%, think this will go down as one of the worst 500's ever. We will be lucky to have 18 cars finish on the lead lap and it will be single file on the top grove for most the race...Highly unlikely we see a darkhorse winner come sunday night.

Yep, great minds think alike. What are the oddsmakears smoking with Danica 13-1. Tandem racing is over in this series which was her only shot. Kyle, Jeff, Kevin, Tony or bust IMO. |

#6 Posted: 2/24/2013 9:34:40 AM I agree if the race goes the distance a dark horse is very unlikely. But the rain chances increase through out the day. Remember last year..Blaney was in perfect position to win it.....just a thought |

#8 Posted: 2/24/2013 11:36:33 AM Just heard showers staying South so looks like 500 miles. But rain could be factor. I agree there is going to be a lot of single car driving until the end because of yesterday. Thank God no one died and they will all recover. BUT lawsuit will come |

#16 Posted: 2/24/2013 3:24:50 PM Not a avid NASCAR bettor so I have I question some of might be able to help me with which might sound dumb....
So I had Tony Stewert to finish ahead of Kasey Kahne, which were involved in that wreck, which resulted in Stewart finishing in 43 and kahne few spots ahead...
This will be graded as a loss correct?? Or I am just getting my hopes up it's graded as a push? |

#17 Posted: 2/24/2013 3:29:15 PM Both drivers have returned to track. When race is over, whoever has higher finishing position, will be graded as winner. Nothing else matters.

#20 Posted: 2/24/2013 3:35:04 PM I had Tony big and was hoping and thinking this was his year. Still got $500 on Jimmie at 15-1 and $55 on Danica at 100-1. She not looking bad.... |

#22 Posted: 2/24/2013 3:38:44 PM Danica is a joke but the books are smarter then I give them credit for in Nascar. They knew this race was follow-the-leader, and she was the leader, which gave her a good chance.

#24 Posted: 2/24/2013 4:14:55 PM I have to give Danica credit. She's done an amazing job, caution 23 to go, this is where the dream ends. |
