Is it we can only make 4 trades i did not know that i have been playing with my lineup to see the salary cap are you saying we should be doing this on paper as changing guys in and out to see the cap counts against our moves. I think it should be unlimited so you can play around and see the cap space right there in front of you

Just want to be sure i understand

thanks glenn

you can make as many changes as you want prior to Daytona, after that you get 4 trades per week. If at anytime you have an issue with anything let me know.

so there will be a submit lineup button after daytona and we will still be able to move guys in and out without submitting to see the cap space on the page and then when we are decided on which 4 we are switching we hit submit or will we need to do the math on our own then do the trades

so basically four of my daytona drivers will need to carry over to the next race correct

Shooter, check is in the mail coming from New Jersey.  My team name is"Rowdy's Bunch" in the league.  I have the same question as above.  each week we will have at least four drivers from the week before and the opportunity to change up to four?

alright, after sending emails to Feedback, they are in the process of adding some type of feature, but in the mean time we need to either

A.   calculate the moves ourselves before making trades

B....I can switch it back to unlimted trades until they add the submit feature or leave it unlimtied for the whole year.

I am starting to think maybe we should just make it unlimited, if we can't move people in and out without seeing the different costs involved, well than that sucks. I am going to email them once more, if they can;'t correct this problem, maybe we should just go back to unlimted trades. As of right now, we will have to calculate it ourselves prior to making the moves.

Sorry if this was answered earlier but you do get 4 trades per week but are the salaries going to change? I think this would be interesting as you could buy low and sell high type of deal.

From the Fantrax Website:

"
Have all player salaries automatically regenerated, periodically, based on player performance. For example, you may choose to regenerate all player salaries every week, so hot players will have increased salaries and cold players will have decreased salaries every week."

Here is the situation we have, I can go in and adjust driver salary every week, but the system doesn't do it automatically .It will be a pain in the behind for sure, I am trying to get the trade thing worked out as we speak. Let me find out some more on the salaries.

1) No, salaries do not change based on performance unless the Commissioner edits or regenerates them

this was from an email i recieved from them, so it can be done, question is, how much of a pain in the behind will it be?

BTW, I think they will have the site corrected where you will be able to mess around with your roster changes not taking effect until you hit a save roster button or submit button.

A huge pain in the behind. Not that setting a spreadsheet up to adjust the driver salaries would be hard, but the trial-and-error that would need to go in to getting a formula right would get messy. I don't think it's worth risking at the moment. You'd also need to coordinate a formula that the majority of people in the league could agree on.

However, maybe we should pressure them to finish up on their Upcoming Features section.

Auto salary regeneration is said to be one of the current projects: "

I like exactly how its set up now personally.  The 4 trade policy adds a little more cappin ability to it if you ask me. Makes you look ahead to next week just a little bit.

I vote unlimited each week we all will have differing lineups anyway with the cap and 8 drivers and having to deal with the week before and after road course races really will suck big time

just my opinion

Congrats for winning Daytona, iSTEALcable.

For all the mayhem, I'm pleased to have taken 5th after 3 of my drivers got the MWR smackdown on lap 30.
