Congrats to Funnycide on his Commissioner selection, tough beat, but you cashed that is the most important thing. I didn't think he had any chance and was wrong.
Now, a couple of thoughts. Chrome getting stepped on out of the gate and or grabbing his quarter, no excuse. The distance limitations came thru on his pedigree, (my only fear). I was not happy with the ride Victor gave Chrome, I would have gone right to the lead and have them catch me (now we know why Victor will never be a Rosario, Smith, Johnny V or Castellano). I am not sure he would have won anyway, but if would have given him a better chance. He was never that far off the pace in any of his last 6 victories. Again no excuse, he was not the best yesterday.
Now for the Owner of CC, totally classless and it shows how you can destroy your reputation in a matter of minutes. Lost all respect for all the connections and even the trainer who wouldn't be interviewed.
They should never change any aspect of the Triple Crown Races in time or horses allowed to Race. The only change I would make is to allow for the Fillies to get into the Derby through a separate point structure. Would have loved to see Untapable in the Derby.
Now who had Tonalist on top ? or expect for FunnyCide who made money on the Belmont ? Who ?
Betting favorites does not cost you any more $ than what most of you lost "Chasing Prices" !
You might have been right about Chrome, but if you didn't cash, it does not matter.

You picked chalk all day. After 4 races you had no shot to break even. Your logic will never be correct and there's a reason why every person makes fun of you on here.
Chasing prices? You put your complete trust in a morning line oddsmaker instead of actually handicapping races. There were bad favorites yesterday and it has nothing to do with chasing. The fact that you're back on here this morning chirping is sad. You start thread after thread of nonsense. You will never be a winner in horse racing because you will never be able to have a high enough winning percentage on low prices to make a profit. It's simple math. End of story. Maybe one day when you realize this you can get off your brother's couch.

I dunno. Think a lot of people agreed with him. But the casual fan probably doesn't even know what he is talking about with the new qualifying format for KDerby.
But you get that in any sport when an emotional person has just lost a major event and they run and push a microphone in front of him. But he did seem a little over the top. Haha!
It is easy for us to say that because it sounds nice. But I imagine very hard to do right after you have lost the most important race of your lifetime and they ask you right away how you feel. Hard to feel too gracious if you are emotional and competitive. People want us all to be 'sportsman' and 'lose graciously' because it sounds good. Try investing emotionally that much and/or financially that much and I bet it is hard to do---We cannot relate to it, so maybe we should cut him some slack. Ultr-competitive people don't believe all shoudl get a ribbon, etc.

Raiders, he destroyed all his goodwill in a matter of minutes. Classless
individual. Oh and Congrats to mstrH and I bet the horse with the best
chance to win and don't just pick the ML Favorite, I capped every race.

Of course he was a sore loser! I know guys that take losing way worse than that!
Good grief---he should have kept his cool---but when you have put your all into something and come oh so close...hard not to be emotional. Most people at least think he has a point. Maybe he should have just said...what...nice try? People automatically try to look for reasons they fail And when the reasons are overly obvious it is easy to ticked off about it. But by all accounts the guys is normally a decent guy. I sorta have to give him a pass on this. I know people in sports that have lost much lesser events that threw way worse tantrums than he did.
