Daily racing form. Either the one in print goes for $5.00 on
weekdays and $6.00 on Saturday. The online version is a
total joke. $3.00 for a card. Should be a $1.00. The print
version should be no more than $2.00.

Agreed, golfkat - I know the others in this forum would call us cheap, "if you can't afford The Form you shouldn't be betting on horses," but I still see it as a continual trend against horse racing fans. I remember the days (they weren't that long ago) when it was $2. Popularity of horse racing is fading in the USA, wish someone would do something to revitalize it, instead of charging for admission, parking, programs, outrageous prices for food and beer at the track, etc.

DRF are nothing but price gouging lowlifes. Charging $3.00 a
card for online PP. They should be charging $1.00 a card and
they would make plenty of money. I am not interested in paying
all the writers that are totaly useless. I just want the PP at a
reasonable price.

Golfkat,
I agree with you. The Form over charges for their online product. They want you to buy one of their monthly or yearly subscriptions so they over charge for the one track products. Here is an idea. If you have say three other racing friends get together and buy a yearly unlimited subscription and you can get forms for less than one dollar per track. I know the price is over 1K but if you buy the seven dollar form twice a week you will be saving money. I like playing at least four tracks on weekends so getting an unlimited plan works for me and my buddies. It comes to about $500 a year between the plan, printer paper and toner for my printer. If I buy the $7.00 form 3 times a week that's $21.00 as compared to approx. $10 per week with the plan. If you play horses only once or twice a month then the cost is too high and I would just buy the Form. If you bet horses three or more times a week then the cost is worth it. GOOD LUCK

I buy the printed version 7 days a week and have no problem with that. $49.50/week + gas and time to go get it. I use what I'm comfy with, regardless of cost.

If you can't afford the info, you probably can't afford to play and lose. So find a new hobby, perhaps?

Gambler,
I can afford to buy the printed version but sometimes I want to bet a racetrack that the printed version doesn't have. Here in my area they almost never put Turfway Park or Hawthorne in the forms on weekends so getting the online version helps.

The real most overpriced items?
1. Energy! We have the technology to have free energy for all, and we have for decades. (you tube free energy, and there are hundreds of demonstrations, of people using free energy)
2. Gas. The Nazi's (known for their technology) invented synthetic Oil. We have no need to use oil...when we can have things powered by free energy, from the universe, or at least, some much cheaper synthetic Oil. (Google Jerome Corsi, Nazi's synthetic oil)
Ok, back to the horses lol.

A lot of races are unplayable. When I buy the form, I am not interested in the races I can't beat. Since I play online, I would
not mind paying say, 25 cents per race that I use. Just like itunes
does with music.
