ten 4YO gals going down the hill see if I can scrape away a little from this one. open company MSW.
Note: the temporary rail is out at 30 feet which I do consider meaningful.

4/1 ml. pace, speed, pattern. i really don't give any of these ladies a recency edge though the players will assign that to the 6 but in my view she came out and did what she has consistently done which is fail to win with a pretty damn good setup for her. tossing the last for this 3 on the cushion in Inglewood both her weaker spins on that surface. like the race on the inglewood green around two turns (76 fig) showing solid pace/stamina for this crew and the comments "pace, gamely, btwn wire". like the move back to turf and cutting back and going down the hill. like the zip she showed in the debut sitting right off hot clips for young 3YO gals. like the pickup in the drills in the last two weeks with three solid moves a 6F followed by two 5F moves. feel the 1 might be able to run but i question her fitness level based on gaps in the drills and always tough to try the hill first out. other firsters don't appear set to fire today. other contenders look like they either run flat and evenly late and/or lack a solid late speed punch. think the boys jump on the 4 here thinking she has pace edge but i don't see that upon close examination. so, with the rail so far out possibly helping IF this gal fires (recent activity suggests she very well could) then she could take these all the way or sit a stalk and pounce trip with a chance to get it done inside the furlong pole. helpful that Bejarano moves back to this 3 when he could have rode the 10 but the horse has to get it done here. Mandela got her from Jerry so one good one handing her to another good one moot point. nothing sexy maybe 7/2ish.
good luck

Gun to my head 2 is my second or third choice. My concern is late speed. Twice she has "no bid" in the comments and last out it says "outkicked" which concerns me. Maybe she performs better with Gomez but they already tried bejarano. We'll find out in about 90 minutes.
Should know right away if the 3 means business today. Nothing fancy right out front or just off it when they start going downhill.

3/1 winner could be worse it paid a little more than that
can't win a race much easier than that. like i said sit right off it and then take over inside the furlong pole.
maybe that pace/speed/stamina combo from that prior turf race around two turns in Inglewood was important after all. maybe those snappy drills in the last couple of weeks were important after all.
2 had a whole lotta nothing late. 4 and 6 evenly and flat late
thanks guys
i'll check the race of the day tomorrow and see if it is playable.

if there is no turf racing at a venue I don't even look at it so I don't follow NYRA until April except for maybe a graded stake. This particular race is an OC/SAL for 60K for 3YO gals. almost the whole damn field wants the lead. the 1 at 10/1 ml and 4 at 4/1 ml might have some value taking a shot from off the pace but I do not trust either of them for various reasons. good luck if you take a swing at it.
