in race 5 out west we have a 4/5 chalkie for Canani in the drops and pops mode.  figs say he cruises home but he runs evenly late although that was against way, way better stock.  can you trust this stiff?  not at 4/5.  he's also 5 and has only 3 career starts.  maiden 50K sellers going 6.5F it will feel like going 10F to some of these bums.  still thinking about how to play this if at all.

inglewood 5

7/1 on the tote.  i have to swing against this chalkie at 2/5 here.  the 6.5F could be an issue he has couched it up late all three races.  this 2 might come back running.  horse was bet aggressively down at the beach and those maiden sellers can be tough down there.  maybe he can stretch his legs out with some more ground to cover here off the bench.  ran a 77 fig last out not too shabby compared to these stiffs.  0.50 units here as these fellas suck i don't truly trust any of them.

inglewood 4th at 6/1.  the chalkie won.

i know the 2 showed zip last out but i was expecting bejarano to hold him back a little and make a move.  horse broke sharply and was in a pace duel the whole way

6/1 on the board.  pretty wide open although i see the appeal on the fav.  distance might be an issue here this gal did struggle late as a 3YO but now she's 2 sprints to a route (trainer solid with this) and has shown good late movement down the hill in Arcadia and here in inglewood around one turn.  gotta hold on but i like the recency.

4th at 5/1.  i've got 4thitis.  the 2 won at 4/1.  didn't like how she always coughed it up late and today she takes them wire to wire.

i guess i missed the tweets or the chit chat this baffert/bejarano gal is 1/9 in her comeback race here in race 7.  four straight bullets the players are drooling when they see this from baffert.

12/1 right now.  some of these moves suggest some talent is here.  swinging against baffert.  like the spin three back in the morning followed up with two 6F easy moves to build the stamina.  daddy clicks at 14% first out.  taking a shot

just an FYI if you are considering this 5.  bear in mind Gaines is very solid with rookies (22% overall with MSW) but the data is not good for firsters.  it's not like she never fires first out but she is no Baffert in that area.  i do like how 5/14 that she ran in Inglewood so far have hit the board with three winners.

inglewood

wow, that gal can run.  sometimes it pays off to really analyze the drills and don't just look for bullets.  she had a real nice 5F move and then two 6F moves to build the fitness/stamina

bet from 12/1 down to 7/2

this game sucks person at times.

ok fellas, poker game here in race 8.  anyone else wondering why the 6 is in this race???

she is a very legit G1 caliber gal.  i cashed on her at 10/1 in that last race back in November.  why the f*&k is she in this little bullshit restricted stake?

on the other hand Shireffs is very, very conservative so maybe he wants to feed her some lollipops.  not that the others are bums but come on this 6 is awful tough.

goofy conditions.  restricted to non-winners of a G1 at a mile or further in 2012.  seems fishy but at the same time maybe not.  hmmmm

darn it i'll take the bait.  maybe a situation where 2/1 does offer some value.  ten minutes to post she's 2/1 i'll give it a go.  should get a nice setup here but is off the layoff.

I tried to get in on the 6 also, but the race was closed.  Agree with everything you said above.
