I hit it today at Keeneland. Always bet against the bridge jumpers. Your risk is small, but your reward could be tremendous.

I love horse racing, but betting major money for a 5% return ? Never. I will take the other side all the time.

Just look at the show pools. If the favorite has over 70% of the pool, bet all of them for show. Then root like hell for a out the money result.

Last Thursday at AQ, second race.  I was in AC playing cards, and when I saw the pools, I was going to head into the horse book to bet everyone to show, but I got involved in the game and forgot.  Bad job.

Yeah, I missed that one too. I just wasn't home. Brutal favorite. Listen, if its Seattle Slew in an allowance race, I can see doing it, but not a mid level race at the Big A or Keeneland.

Actually you would only risk $10 in a 6 horse field unless you threw 2 bucks on the 1-5 too as to have your infamous saver bet!

get it next time. Again, who will lose more than you win, but the payoffs on the wins will be astronomical.

so if im looking at this right. los alamitos race 1. you would bet all the horses to show since the 4 horse has over 70% of the show money on it?? and do you also bet for the 4 to show or no?

I bet pools where the favorite has close to 90% of the money.I wouldn't bet the horse, You could only really make a dime. I don't bet them all only ones with about 90% of the money. It has been incredible lately, but some favorites are due. LOL
