1) Zags record of 36-1 they should of been favorite according to the records ...However, UNC is favored
2) Last years was more of a surprise on the short line with Villanova
3) West coast seems to be in love with Zags and Zags were in lots of hype all year where Villanova was not so much last year
You really have to compare matchups in this game....
Offensively : Zags can match firepower with perimeter shooting w/ Heels....3 point shooting is about even. Both guards can drive and dish to the Bigs and/or hit short jump shot. Question is if Zags will want to run vs Heels...I'm assuming they won't slow things down at all > both teams work well with pushing that rock...
Here's the difference...
Defense. Zags get up in your face when opposing teams shoot behind the arc. Bigs can defend around the basket...we've seen how vulnerable NC was with short handed Oregon inside. Overall, the defense for the Zags is very fundamentally sound....they play physical. Probably one of the most physical team they have faced. Can NC match Zags intensity on defense??? My guess is that won't happen... defense is soft inside/out...yes they're long and can block shots, but when it comes physical play in giving that edge to this Zag team...
Also...who wants it more?? A team that came close LY or a team that has big things to prove? NC has been in this position before, so expectations will be nothing short. Zags on the other hand doesn't seem to play without preasure all season long. 2 very confident teams playing one another...nothing more deserving that these final 2. Going to be a great ball game... Analytically I'm giving the edge to the Zags.

Over on 1st Half is another good play. Nothing slowing these 2 teams down. Both will want to run and then clamp down on defense in 2nd half...looking into the numbers again, but I really like the over for 1H.

North Carolina will need netter percentages to win the championship. UNC gonzaga on paper finishes 84-81 but it is who has the ball last finish I for see a 90+ first half not unusual for matched run and gun styles.
PS could some get gonzahas center some eye wear. Could help in the paint mishaps
