Overall Season to Date: 51-43-3

Yesterday: 7-1
Saturday: 5-11
Tournament Record to Date: 20-16*.
Parlay: 0-1*
Large Plays:
0-1*

(*Reflected in overall season to date.)

Brutal Saturday.

Boise St. +8.5

I realize that SOS favors Illinois, but I'll take the team that doesn't drop off much in play on the road, coming off a BYU win, and has the coaching consistency to not throw them off.

The difference in offensive output favors Boise St., and in my opinion the SOS doesn't offset that difference enough; especially when Boise St. is getting points.

Might have another play or two...

UT Arlington 1H -2.5

Oh man, give me the team from the slightly better conference, better SOS, higher KenPom ranking, and outscored Akron by close to 8 points in the 1H of their last 5 games.

I'm digging Boise as well. This team is travel tested. Their non conference road trips were brutally long.

I also think that the Hiring of Brad Underwood is going to be a distraction for the Illini. The press is going to constantly ask players and assistant coaches about a guy they don't know.

Good luck

It's a new direction that they wouldn't have been playing under for too long. If i had to go with the two possible scenarios -- they play lights out with more free reign or they struggle with gluing together some broken pieces -- I'm going to go with the latter.

I'll have to find out at the end of the game.

Samford 2H -1

They're been a better 2H team lately, outscoring their opponents in the second half. Got this one in late though, and it's still 0-0 in the 2H, but if you've got live betting, it's still bettable.

Samford was ill-advised. Shouldn't squeeze a quick cap-sesh during half time, and while I'm at work.

Arlington hits.

1-1

Colorado St. -4 (bought half)

I keep looking for reasons/angles that would justify a low line here. I get that Bakersfield beat a Cal team, which incidentally had two of their starters on the bench for the game, but who else have they beat?  New Mexico State. Okay, I'll give them that. They've been solid in conference play, and have a solid defense. CSU isn't that bad on defense, but they're have a pretty potent offense. It's going to be a game pitting superior defense vs. superior offense. While this is the NIT, the NCAA tournament has shown us that stellar offense > stellar defense.  At least in the post-season.

Colorado State is playing at home. I think CS Bakersfield might be a little over their heads. And even if they make the game respectable, I simply see CSU covering the spread.

If anyone has any insight as to why Bakersfield could cover this spread, let me konw.
