They covered...thank you Landen Lucas. But still, WTF?! Up 14 with 2:20 left?! Huggins didn't seem to show any sort of emotion when these dudes were coming back. SMH!

How does Huggins not draw up an inbound play to beat the press?
How do they have a shot for the win and with 16 seconds left they stand and don't make 1 single pass and try a fadeaway flat foot 3...
So true, what you guys have said. They've been exposed, big time. I've seen pressing teams, at different levels, who when pressed themselves, seem like they've never practiced a press break. But with the depth they have, unless they're all in extra academic tutoring, wtf? No twenty minutes in practice to coach up the non-starters to execute a well run press break vs. the starters? No assistant coach giving Coach Huggins "feedback"?

hehe. Indeed.
That imbecile has 800+ wins. Just goes to show you what a farce Collegiate coaching really is.
I help coach junior high/high school players in a region where we're surrounded by powerhouse schools and we've almost always got the inferior talent athletically, so we see a sh!t ton of the 2-2-1/1-2-1-1 and variations of, and we consistently break them em with relative ease.
It's simple. Have your tallest player inbound, your fastest player receive it, your best point forward/decision maker (preferably) at centre circle and the two others on either wing and they simply cheat up or down depending on where the opposition chooses to set their trap, if at all.
After a couple of barely contested layups, most smart teams retreat back to man or zone licking their wounds
