I miss my cousin a lot. I have not seen or heard from him since we were young. As kids, he would always talk about how Larry Bird was really black and wore a costume because he played for an Irish team or the 46 different ways one could beat the Cleveland Browns in Tecmo Bowl. He would also spend lots of times talking sports with his invisible friend. I always joined in on the conversation but found it extremely weird. My family always knew he had some mental disorder (we didn't really care because we all had some form of mental disorder within the family, some more pronounced than others). One summer day back in 94', he took a Greyhound bus and left.
I received a letter from him just yesterday after me and Lou partied it up in Vegas and found out he is staying at the Fedelman Psychiatric Hospital in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He left a number to the hospital to which I immediately called. When I gotten a hold of him, we had a long conversation and caught up on the missing years we've been apart. Everything was fine until he started talking jibberish and that was when his caretaker grabbed the phone from him. According to her, when he starts talking jibberish, he goes on and on for hours. I asked her what he talks about during these episodes. She said he likes to talk about sports and tends to come up with crazy numbers. I asked, "Like 1,2,3...numbers?" She replied, "No, like +1 1/2 or -5 1/2 type numbers. I mean, who understands this?" I replied, "Uh....can you put him back on the line?" So my cousin gets back on the phone and he says, "Bucks vs. Packers at 1 1/2 but take the Bucks because its your only move." I said, "Since when did the Bucks and Packers play the same sport?" There was more jibberish afterwards and that's when she grabbed the phone again. She explained that he needs to rest and this conversation should conclude.
I asked her whether anybody ever tries helping him and she replied, "All the staff helps him around here and end up being real happy." I asked, "How so?" She replied, "I don't know but when he speaks jibberish, all the male staff hover around him like he is a messiah or something. Ever since he has gotten here, those guys all seemed to have gotten raises. They all have new cars, watches, and other toys. I find it strange however because I haven't received a raise in 23 years."
I suddenly deciphered the code my cousin was conveying. He likes the Panthers with the points and I would be crazy not to listen to him.

I get it "milwaukee bucks" are the Milwaukee Panthers. The "Packers" are the Green Bay Phoenix. Your story about your cousin is very interesting. I hope he makes everyone in his hospital rich!!! God bless him.

There's somebody with a jname scurrying for picks this weekend and kept losing. I'll ride with the karma of the jname being an L pick and this post being a W. That's how she goes.

The story of Lou was the best on Saturday. This guy is one of a kind.
