it's all fixed, like finances...vast majority of public that trades the stock market, loses to the big boys...the powers that be, screw the little people....
politics, same thing, idiots vote for same politicans, who of course go out and screw everyone but themselves and their friends....
and that's the way it's going to be until i'm gone.

The whole Tourney has been staged. The matchups and venues were carefully studied to create the probable outcomes that you now see. It isn't madness or chaos, it's complete order.
This year they wanted the big coaches in the Final Four. Little kids are not big enough; need the big ego coaches who headline their teams.
Sad ND couldn't get a go ahead basket and had a shot clock violation, then leave it open for an NBA type clear out and drive to the hoop and let the refs decide it. SAD ENDING to a great game played by ND.

ND couldn't close out, so because of that the tourney is fixed. The best teams winning and the tourny is fixed???? Not sure that makes sense. Now if a 7 seed and an 8 seed made it to the final 4 I would say it was fixed. Vegas cashed huge when the dogs beat the higher ranked teams in the 1st day of the tourny, so those were not fixed since the lower ranked teams won?? Think this is just sour grapes thread.

All those 3's by Wisconsin and Arizona shooting 30 free throws was part of a fix? Please elaborate
Arizona was a fix. They never should have made it past Xavier. Xavier was the better team, but they were playing a road game.
Wisky despite being "West" (last 1 seed) got 2 games in Nebraska (Big 10), then North Carolina out west. Granted Arizona had a mostly home game, but again on a neutral floor they lose to Xavier
I've got nothing on this, so not sour grapes. I was around when NC State beat Houston. Several years ago, they changed the rules to make sure top seeds get home games. That killed the tournament. A buddy of mine laughs, he said it's not worth watching any more.
And he's right.
Looking forward to another 1 v 2 tomorrow, and Mich St or Louisville

Expanding the number of teams in the tournament hasn't helped . March Madness really boils down to several teams having a legitimate shot at the championship. The vast majority are one and done also rans.

it didn't use to be that way...
before the rule change most crowds would root for the underdogs. you don't see that much any more

So then don't watch this tournament makes tons of money and it will only make more in the years to come
generally, i don't....
nothing else to do today. skipped the kentucky game until the last 10 minutes, was surprised notre dame had a shot...then saw the home crowd bs
i'll leave it to the masses. like so many things, a fool's game, and there are a lot of fools out there. just becaue it's popular, doens't mean it's any good

So if it's fixed can you tell us who is going to win tomorrow based on your assumptions? I like Duke and Louisville. But I honestly have no idea. I hear Duke would get them better ratings though. lol

Well the difference here is it's not a home game for either team
Tournament did their job, Duke in Charlotte the 1st 2 games. Kentucky in Louisville-laughable. Why even play those games. Committee did their job, cementing Duke and Kentucky in the Sweet 16.
And that's as it should be. Despite the obvious fixes-the games on national tv for CBS (not TNT, TBS, TRUE)? The fixed games. Duke and Kentucky.
