Let me start off by saying that I don't solely cap games on percentage of bets on team A vs. team B but , I do take in consideration when I do place a bet. My question is has anybody seen any profit using this strategy. Also what type of games would be better to try this, early season tourny's, small conference or big conference games, tv games, ect.

public % and line movement is 80% of my handicap and i have been doing this seriously for almost 10yrs. key is to stick to games that are 1-7.5 ish point spread. don't get into games where the opp is outclassed.

CBB is tough to get a good feel on % of money simply because the lines are usually out less than 24 hrs, unlike CFB where you get 6 days to watch things.

Thanks for the replies guys. I got buried early last year in basketball, I bet too many games and never really recovered. Trying to find a way to wager smarter this year.

B ball is all about finding the talent. The public fade is best during conference tourney time. The madness is the best time for this approach. Like the Cards vs the shockers. Public all over Cards in that game . What happened the cards barley beat Cinderella last yr

Definitely don't think fading the public works as well in CBB as it does football, but it is something to look into in the nationally televised games that have a lot of action on them. From last season I came to the conclusion that if something looks too good to be true in CBB, take it. In football if something looks too good to be true I am fading it all day. GL this season buddy and I hope we can break the books together! $$$
