For those you saying Florida had it too easy getting to the elite 8 and Michigan has all the momentum coming into this game, GL to you. This and the fact that Michigan has the best player on the court are really the only reasons I see for backing Michigan tomorrow. Let's not lie to ourselves, Florida is the much more complete team on both sides of the court.
They only allowed over 60 pts to one team during the tourney and this was in garbage time for Minny when they were up 20. (to be fair michigan only allowed 60 pts to one team as well but they gave up 76 in regularion to KU) This is the toughest team Michigan will play all year (yes including Indiana, who they were swept by) IMO.
Furthermore, Florida is loaded with Seniors and tourney experience and Michigan starts 3 freshmen. It's going to take an uncanny performance from all of Michigan's starters to get this win and I'm willing to bet that it doesn't happen.

Kansas has the number 5 defense and they beat them, those stats dont mean as much right now anyway.
I don't go solely on stats. You have to encompass all predictable factors into this. Florida also passes the eye test much more proficiently having seen both teams all year long.
Ask yourself, was Kansas beaten or did they beat themselves?
GL on your Mich bet

not sure if this is sarcasm or not but if it isn't let it be known that I dont give two s hits about what my contest picks are I dont wager real money on those. Most were random picks trying to win weekly prizes.

Oh wait michigan was favored by a point over Kansas on Kempom then! My bad ignorant ass! Being a homer I can't bet this no value except on Florida when it opened!
Michigan has the potential and I believe Kansas was a much worse matchup!
McGary is adding an element that michigan never had 95% of the season the stats don't show what this team is capable of tomorrow!

No doubt Mcgary has been stepping up big these last few games but not sure how you could like the matchup better than with Kansas. Murphy and Young arent gonna be a picnic for him. Florida is a team that goes 8 deep with 4 starters averaging in double figures. They will force tons of turnovers and completely ruin the rhythm of your game.

I believe the trick is to stop Burke and Hardaway from making those pts and throw them off rhythm. Kansas did that the first half and about halfway through the 2nd, but didn't close em out when they could. Florida plays VERY good 2pt D and can be a nightmare for what Michigan brings. Very good D. as stated number 5 adjusted.
