I will be looking to play Kansas as this is a horrible matchup for the Wolverines..Michigan loves the three and Kansas guards the three point line as well as anyone in the country..As far as post players go, McGary will find out how the other half lives and disappear against Jeff Withey..I see Kansas winning this game rather easily..Mitch McGary will only get better, just not against Withey..

If Kansas plays the same way they did today in the 1h against Michigan, then wolvies will runaway with it. Jay hawks can't keep up with Michigan IMO. It's a  matchup of strength vs strength once again for Michigan. And we all know what they did to the rams. BOL

Jayhawks turned the ball over a ton tonight. Michigan is the most efficient team in preventing turnovers and has the best PG in the country.

Kansas cannot shoot 25% in a half and win against Michigan.

You said it all, line seems short. Bring on the Kansas $$$ while Michigan advances to the EE.

Agree....Withey will be a big problem.

McGray is a good player but Withey has more experience and should dominate the boards.

If M can make enough 3's they will offset the Withey Factor.  However, Kansas is very good at defending the long ball so who knows.

My final opinion on a team I followed all year......

Guard play (and very good guard play) wins games in March Madness and very good guard play wins national championships.  Burke has been impressive and they give him the rock every chance they get.

Kansas did not play like a 1 seed in their first 3 halfs of basketball. The 2nd half against UNC was a huge turning point for the Jayhawks. McClemore will need to show up and play a lot better or they could lose to M.

Lets face it....no one expects M to shoot below 30% from the field like UNC did last night.

I think the line is right on the money and it should stay at that number or move to a pick if we see some M money line love coming in.

Don't overlook the fact that when Michigan was #1 in the AP. The coaches voted Kansas #1 in the USA Today. Kansas promptly puked all over themselves. If Michigan doesn't sport a redA SS over that, I do...

Michigan is #150 in the nation in three-point rate (35%).  Meaning it's only slightly above average in terms of % of its total shots coming from 3.  So not sure why you cited Kansas's ability to guard the 3 as a huge factor.

In any event, Withey does scare me.  Not a great matchup for Michigan with Kansas's interior strength and tendency to slow it down.

I like Kansas too. They know what it's like to play in the tournament. I think they handle Michigan in a close match.

Kansas feasted on a pretty mediocre Big 12 all season.  They haven't exactly impressed me so far.

I'd love to see Michigan advance, however i think it's a long shot.  Kansas at times does seem to come out flat or not really motivated, there notorious for first half struggles, ex: final four last year Ohio st......  This year they traveled to Ohio st, played a close game and pulled away at end. Played three HUGE games against IOWA ST this year and showed up for all three, not neccessarily in first half but when it counted the most...

Kansas sooner or later will be ousted because they do not have a true point guard, Michigan will expose this and beat Kansas. Bad match up for Kansas versus the athleticism of the Michigan guards.  Tough match up for duke also, they could be heading home this round too.

Fun matchup! Michigan has to score early and play confident! Kansas looks like the weakest Kansas team I've seen in sometime!

Kansas more athletic, bigger, stronger, and more experienced.

The coaching is my only concern.

Kansas not putting together a good first half doesn't concern you?

Let's be honest this team has been trash in the first half of games. If they go down by 9 at half like they did to UNC you can kiss this game goodbye for Kansas

who says they wont put together a good first half against michigan?

what they did last game means nothing.

they won convincingly.

It sounds like you are trying to convince yourself of something you do not believe.
