I just knew for sure they where going to get a chance to dance...F.ck Kentucky, they didn&#x27;t deserve it, so it was no surprise to me that they where snubbed. Terps got dealt a cold hand.

How many games are played? 8-10 in the conference and you want them in? They had bad losses: Georgia Tech, Boston College, Virginia twice, They didn't play a quality opponent other than Kentucky in the non conference schedule. Dumb post from you.

Maryland (22-12, 8-10, RPI: 71): Two victories over Duke and a win against N.C. State vaulted Maryland into the bubble discussion despite a sub-.500 ACC record, but the Terps accomplished little else in their remaining 31 games. Their non-league schedule was extremely weak. They dropped games to ACC bottom feeders Boston College and Georgia Tech. And they were swept by Florida State and fellow bubble team Virginia. Unless the NCAA tournament features only Tobacco Road schools, Maryland has the look of a classic NIT team.

Yea I know...but they did play better toward the end...I guess this year the ncaa are giving more nods to the mid major with a stronger RPI...I guess you cant be mad at that...

All I&#x27;m saying is there is 68 teams that make it. I don&#x27;t feel bad for any times if they&#x27;re relying on the committee. Teams have four months to prove themselves and an opportunity to win the conference tournament. Example Mississippi.

for all the terps fans who whine about leaving the acc for the big 10 i have news for ya if MD was in the big 10 with that record they'd be in the tourney. Maryland fans need to understand 1 thing realignment/ md's move to the big 10 are about 2 things money and security and they will get both in the big 10

Iowa didn&#x27;t make it. They nearly have the same record as Maryland. Minnesota and Illinois both finished below Iowa in the conference and made it.

I agree. Terps beat nc state and beat duke twice. Virginia beat carolina, nc state, duke, and wisky on the road. Teams should be judged on their level of competition. Once you realize that cbb is a business just like everything else it kind of makes sense though.

How about Alabama? I think they should have made it (and I hate Alabama btw). However, they tied for 2nd in the SEC with 21 wins overall and 12-6 in conference, albeit the SEC was a little weak this year.
