st marys v gonzaga

#1 team in the land only a 5 point favorite? If St.Mary's was playing Duke, Kansas, Indiana, Michigan, Louisville, Georgetown, would they really only be 5 point favorites?

I know that the Gaels know the Zags inside and out, they played twice this year, 3 of 4 halves were Zag halves, only half that Gaels played really well was 2nd half at Zag court, I know this team must have something up its sleeve, for this to be only 5 points, they have no one to go out and stop Olynyk but he is just part of the issue, they have 10 friggin GUYS that play at a good to very high level, This game will be close only if the Gaels can hit the 3 point shot at 40% or better that is the only freaking way, there are too many people that Gozaga, just 5 points is for the respect of Matthew Dellavadova that is it, but the Gaels Have to win this to get in, and Dellavadova is a magical player but look for the Zags to somehow bottle him up or get him to foul, other than Dellavadova playing really well and him getting his teammates 3 point shots I just don't see a win or lose by 5 or less, ZAGS SHOULD WIN THIS ONE BY DD if they are playing well, if they play less than well they should win this one,

I like Gonzaga to make it 3 in a row vs. the Gaels, and win the WCC championship, they want the #1 seed and losing this will drop them to #2.

I am saying would the Gaels be 5 point dogs vs. any of them?

Not likely every team would be a minimum of 9 point favorites against the Gaels....Look somehow alot of pundits are dissing the Zags for playing in a non-competitive league...and respecting their out of conference schedule. I really think these kids want to prove to America who they are and why they DESERVE the #1 Overall seed. I am putting my $ on a player of the year candidate, a great coach, and a great overall team with many contributors, Gaels have softness all over the court...I am going with ZAGS

@king_ram obviously by your avatar you would make a comment about IU.  ohio st, msu, & michigan may be ranked opponents, but IU barely beat the overrated michigan team because michigan couldn't make free throws to ice the game.  not a big fan of gonzaga getting #1 with the cupcake conference they play in, but i truly believe gonzaga would give IU a run for their money whether it be @ home, road, or neutral.

@matton24 I had the over in the previous matchup when they went into OT and let me tell you, it was a nail biter.  if either team had a lead and just played the free throw game (to cover, or not) @ the end of the game, then the over bet would've been dead.  just like sunday's IU/Michigan game... i had the over....and a team actually had a two possession lead (michigan) but still went under. 

common sense might be....if you think st. mary's covers or its a one possession game, then under would be the bet, or if you think zags gonna blow them out, then the over would be the bet....

BUT~~ I think gonzaga will blow them out and play enough defense so that the game goes under

anyways, won't be touching the over/under but will be on gonzaga myself.  should be a DD blowout.  glta

Why do people look at lines and tell themselves that the books are trying to get them to go a certain way?? The books don't know the future any more than you or me.  The line is simply to force a better into taking a side/making a decision.  Don't over think the easy ones.
