Notes: -Most trying stretch in years, not sure what I can do to stop this streak other than keep pushing and trying to get some winners. Sorry to anyone who has been tailing, hope you jumped off for a little while this streak (2-7 since Saturday) has been in play -Brutal loss on UMass who was getting 12.5 and led by 5 at halftime. A 17-1 VCU run was a big problem, obviously, but Derek Kellogg tried to use his timeouts until it just seemed futile. The Minutement got flustered and drove into the spots Shaka Smart wanted leading to big guys losing the ball and the littlest guy on the floor throwing it away. Really disappointing, thought this one would be a good momentum win to get me feeling good for Saturday -May have to add Havoc as one of my rules to never fade. VCU is a juggernaut at home as their crowd is nuts for 40 minutes and the refs don't call fouls. I could not see the first half, stupid Valentine's Day, but I assume UMass could get the ball across half-court -Huge win for Colorado, happy for them though I think they should have two against Arizona. Pac-12 is starting to show some parity and I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing for tournament bids as the big teams losing can not be good. -Cal roared back for me last Thursday and since then have played great knocking off both UA and Ucla in consecutive games. Still think they're soft, but Crabbe can score with the best of them (and that's not mentioning Justin Cobbs at all) -Temple is officially out of the tournament even with the 'Cuse win, just too many bad losses. Need to win every big game left on the schedule starting with UMass on Saturday. Could be a play-out game -Zags outclass everyone in the WCC

Air Force +3 (-110) vs. Colorado State -CSU off a huge win where their fans went all-out to beat SDSU. They barely pulled it out late, a lot thanks to some poor officiating in the final minute that went only their way (three CSU fouls were missed including a basket counting on a definite charge). AFA has shown they can win at home beating the same SDSU team and UNLV, a lot based on their ability to shoot the 3pt shot. They are gonna hoist a ton of them and that's not something I like too often, but the home rims make a huge difference and I doubt CSU plays their best game tomorrow thanks to the road and the let-down from a win that probably got them into the NCAA tournament with an at-large. AFA needs this game to continue making their case (they have one) and motivation is never a question for me when talking about military schools.

lol just playin.....side note.... I have Miami at 100 to 1 to win it all, think it could get interesting, I see them at 8 to 1 now. Have Zags too at a nice Price. However Gators are best team Top to Bottom, we'll have to see the draws

Would love that, though I think you're a little crazy for playing that when they haven't won anything in my lifetime. Looks great right now...
A lot of my reasoning on Florida was the weak SEC and thinking I had a great shot getting a 1-seed. They should have it locked up barring two losses down the stretch (thinking 1 @mizzou or @uk likely and then all home W's). You probably have one with Miami thanks to the sad state of the ACC this year.
