Bored today, threw down $400 on a 6-team parlay with our local lottery setup (Sport Select).
Saw the late game offered (USC vs UW) and thought, what the hell....if I hit the first five, it'll be good for a laugh to have $12,000 riding on USC, a team that has completely f-ed me a couple of times on the court and the gridiron.
This is gonna be fun. No hedge, just a 10-piece Nugget meal and my MacBook.
Bet $400 to win $12,000
TOR (-3.5) ORL (+3.5) SYR (-14.5) ILCHI (+6.5) STPETE (-3.5) USC (-2.5)

I've never really understood the concept. If I was gunning for a $6,000 payout and I wasn't at least somewhat confident in USC....then I would've played a 5-teamer.
Don't really need the cash, but a trip to some Spring Training baseball games would be nice if it hits!

Let it ride then brotha, GL. For what its worth I think USC is the correct side.

Nice job so far on that 6 team Parlay…Unfortunately you posted this play after five of the six already cashed. The odds of hitting a six teamer is astronomical so I’m going to have to bet against you hitting the last leg. With that said, put me down for Washington plus the chalk for a Nickel Alex Trebek please. Let's see what happens!
U got a point holt. I think we just got CATFISHED!

Hahah...well to be honest, I wasn't even paying attention to the games until the second half of the Syr/SJ. Once the first five hit, I thought a thread for the final leg would be fun.
As for the odds of a six-teamer hitting, it's true they're ridiculous. However, though I'm certainly not fluent in the fields of probability and mathematics.. I think I now have the same chance of winning the bet as someone playing just the one game. And I think USC is the right side.
Almost tip time! Already regretting the trip to McDonalds, this stuff is nasty.
