Okay boys I've handicapped the hell outta URI +16 vs Butler. There are some interesting items:
The Hurleys coach URI (Bobby and Dad)
URI has lost last 4 gms by a combined 10pts.
URI has a dynamic scorer in Xavier Mumford he has scored 20 pts in 8 gms and his avg is 17.4.
The URI defense isn't bad either they have size and length.
Butler has to be questioning itself after the rammage they got vs SLU. Rotnei Clarke isn't the same post injury.
Bottom line is I think 16 points is to many. The public is on Butler at a 78% clip and there probably is relatively heavy money on the game. I see the public getting smacked again.
I feel comfortable laying 2 units here. Pitt was a 5 unit for me.
What do you think??

I like the logic, I'll tail for 1 unit, having +5 unit day so far.  Good Luck!

I see RI beat SLU on the road so they have to be decent right.

URI has actually been pretty competitive in conference play though their record might not reflect it (1-5).  Lost those 5 games by an average margin of 4 pts, though you could always argue the strength of prior conference opponents.  Nevertheless, catching 15- pts with a relatively low total is certainly intriguing.

I'm also considering N. Iowa as that line, on its face, doesn't make a great deal of sense.  98.8% of the Streak players on WichSt which screams for another contrarian play...thoughts?

I love Northern Iowa. Road Favs are getting crushed. I think Witchita peaked vs Creighton and now are resting on laurels a lil bit.
My public fade came down to these two plays. I picked URI b/c of the reasons you mentioned and now there should be a blue print on how to beat them. I just don't know much about N. Iowa but based on theories (Road Favs) and the line it's a fantastic play. I may hop on for 1 unit.

Any thoughts on Temple vs St Joes?
It's pretty much a must win for Temple and they are getting 3pts. I see a close game it's also a Big 5 intra city rivalry. Those games are generally close.

Coach were on fire. Anything else?

Those N. Iowa and URI plays are the ones that seperate the 50% wagerer and the 60% wagerer.

Yeah, Slim...I like the way you think willing to step outside the box.  If there's one thing I've learned, it's those plays that don't feel all comfy and cozy are usually the winners...with exceptions, of course.  I'm still liking Indiana St. and looking at the Mich/Ind over tonight...thoughts?

Only game I'm looking at is Florida. There has been RLM the public is with missisippi +16.5 at almost 60% but the line increased to 17.5. They're looking for more Mississippi money. I hate laying that many points but may play small 1-2 units. Plus I think Fla is the best team in the country and aren't getting the respect. They may open a can of whup azz tonite.
