Hawaii has two losses to two Top 25 teams. In 5 of 6 games, Hawaii has dominated most of the games by double digits, including #13 Illinois, who made a stellar final 5 minute come back and won on a buzzer beater in OT.
Hawaii was down 24 to UNLV, but roared back in the second half to cut it down to single digits. First road trip jitters, and by reported accounts a ferocious tounge lashing by HC Gib Arnold.
Hawaii is at home, in their first ever conference game in the newly joined Big West.
Hawaii is very good, just young and has problems holding onto their big leads. After that UNLV thrashing, I expect a solid wire to wire effort.
