#177 Posted: 3/20/2012 11:06:17 PM Tough luck, jfen. Barely over. Too bad they didn't miss about 20 of those shots. Hope the darts you throw are more accurate in the future. Reasons this went over... A) familiarity B) they are two of the highest scoring teams in the country C) they don't know a slow pace
Maybe next time, you can pick your team by who has the prettier uniform and your sheep followers can hold your jock again. Btw, I want my money! Sincerely, Your bookie |

8 1/2 years for your first post? I'm honored.
Coincidentally, my "bookie" just texted me. He's on his way to McDonald's right now to spend the $12.00 he made from me tonight. He's a lucky SOB!

Let's kill the rest of this week. Anyone thoughts on Wash st./ Oregon st. over 149? I know Ore. St likes to open it up in the second half. |

#188 Posted: 3/21/2012 2:12:48 AM Like your leans for the 8 NCAA games. I also cannot fathom this 7th place Ville team threatening Mich St. UConn was a 9th place team last yr, but had a very special player. This yr Sparty appears to have that player that can take them all the way. |

I'm probably playing the Beavs but will wait in hopes of the line coming down. I don't particularly trust this Washington State offense away from Pullman. It's also a big challenge to adjust from playing ultimate slowpoke Wyoming to the fast-paced Beavers.

Yeah, I'm still sitting on my Sparty +3200 future from January and probably won't even attempt a hedge until the Elite 8, provided they can get past Louisville. Not interested in laying the points, but this should be a pretty good game with two of the best coaches in the business in terms of tournament preparation and execution.

#191 Posted: 3/21/2012 2:32:34 AM I like the Beaver's as well. I've watched them play a few games at home earlier this year. They get the crowd going and it fuels them. I expect that place will be packed tomorrow?
I think a lot of three's are going to drop tomorrow...Oregon St. gives up 38% from the line and both teams are shooting around 36% from 3.
It's going to come down to tempo. If Washington State can keep up with the Beavers, or if the Beavers can score efficiently in the half court if Washington State slows it down.

#192 Posted: 3/21/2012 3:07:31 AM More I look @ Nevada the more I like them....
Last 3 losses, none were by 6 or more. In fact you have to go back to November to find their last loss by more than 6.
They lost to Iona by exactly 6 on February 18th.
I got a feeling Nev wins, Stanford won't get a bunch of open 3s |

#194 Posted: 3/21/2012 11:14:45 AM Morning. Have been charting the MTSU - MINNY game should be a good game. What interested me after going through all the numbers is that both teams play decent defense, value there possession and best of all arent selfish alot of assists especially MTSU. Rebounding slight edge to MTSU see how that plays out and big edge to the Gophers on free throws. I am playing the under as both teams want to win this game similar to last nite drexel umass. When you have time would appreciate your thoughts thanks. |

#197 Posted: 3/21/2012 12:52:57 PM Unless Minny. comes in worn out from road travel, heavy legs, my thinking is if they come close to shooting the way they shot the other night ..... goes over 134 !. Mn. 4-1 over and M T st. 4-1 over last 5 games.

as a beav alum, the attendance the first two games has been 1900 and 2300--at most the placce will be half full at 4000 tonight, just an FYI-still think -7 is the right number. |

Rest assured both teams will have plenty of adrenaline flowing. What ever happened the last 5 games has nothing to do with tonites matchup. Not the same offenses or defensives totally different game. |
